I made my Mii in 2007, after getting a Wii for Christmas. He has made the journey to my 3DS in 2013, my Wii U in 2015, and my Switch in 2017. I've also copied him to DS and Android. The last one is via a QR code inside Miitomo, straight off 3DS or Wii U. I'll keep using him for many years to come, as long as he can keep moving forward. God speed Ilovetrain!

i really hope Miis become more prominent on the Switch 2. Gone are the days where Nintendo firmly stood in the face creative assets for Mario games in the Wii U and most of the Switch's era (excluding 3D Mario and Mario Kart), and I think that's going to positively affect Nintendo in regards of making a system that has the forgotten Nintendo magic

Local scenes might have had them legal to some extent but Small Mii Brawler is actual considered by some top players to have even been better than Bayonetta. i could be getting some details wrong tho cause i wasn't around for smash 4 this is just knowledge i have gathered from being a filthy smasher :3

technically you can go from ds to 3ds if you got the special transfer app for tomodachi life (jp exclusive)

@@LillieMakesVideos well i only heard of it but i think it defiantly official i stumbled upon it when i tried to move my miis from tomodachi collection on an emu, basically you keep tomodachi collection in the card slot, download the app from the eshop, save the miis then transfer them to tomodachi life, it only works on the jp version of tomodachi life for obvious reasons (tomodachi collection is a jp exclusive), this method cant work on an emu btw

the wii in the beginning is my sibling's and is just direct composite output which only allows for 4:3 it seems, in my normal wii footage i play on a wii u which uses HDMI and can play in 16:9 which is how i usually play

I kinda do the same. I just re-create my first Mii ever in every Nintendo console to follow that I have had. The only exception is the 3DS, which I never had. But I have had a Wii, and now I have a Wii U and a Switch. In those, my Mii is there.

This is not the way. You lose all of the creation metadata like the date and so forth. You: “Couldn’t you just change the date on each console you recreate the Mii on, to simulate it being the same OG Mii from the Wii in 2006 or whenever?” Ugh… yes, with the exception of if you make the Mii on the Nintendo Account website. Unless you hack the whole internet.
