I find it useful to hack a drone who is near Deathstroke so they do like 90% of the damage then I take out like two cobras get the missile barrage and shoot deathstroke with the missile barrage ending him

I learned very well about the game's insistence that you hit every thug but the one you are targeting when I did the DLC achievements, specifically the one where you have to complete the Monarch Theater challenge map with all four characters from City without losing your combo. Really fun that the game randomly will decide to make you hit someone with a stun baton or riot shield when your character is nowhere near you!

An interesting challenge you can do with Firefly in Knight is if you go to Founders island early before intended you can still do his fight on Founders island before lowering the bridge. However the challenge comes from the infinite tanks that are now on founders island. Since you’re on there earlier then intended the game will respawn any tanks you destroy so trying to chase firefly down while tanks are constantly firing at you is a nightmare. I did this and it made me want to destroy my console. Just thought it’d be nice for people to know this since I don’t think anyone has has mentioned this challenge : )

I'm half certain that's intentional for those fights specifically. Hitting them is a waste unless you're coming in with a takedown, so if there's anyone else nearby the game is programmed to target them instead. Leaving you to fight against what the developers intended. That's just my theory though.

Not fully sure myself what the situation was with AK development as to the boss situation but I have to assume they wanted to favour telling their story over a lot of bosses in the game. Along with development issues over the time they worked on the game, to be fair I think bosses overall in the series are sort of different to other games generally and even the Insomniac spider man bosses. Like Asylum is mostly Titan bosses to show the prevalence of that stuff in the story, then Bane which is a given and Ivy because she’s been enhanced by Titan. Croc and Scarecrow I see more as ‘encounters’ than boss ‘fights’ personally. Now you do fight enemies in Scarecrows but I think the point stands. In general there should really be classifications of boss encounters, mini bosses and boss fights imo. Finally in asylum we have Titan Joker which is… there, as people know the addition of bosses wasn’t always planned and in general I don’t know if they wanted to put too much emphasis on them in the game overall. City similarly has some good boss fights and decent mini bosses, like the Abramovichi twins and the penguin or joker titans they aren’t bad or Deadshot which I see as an encounter and is bad or Two Face I also think is an encounter and is fine. But as for fights you’ve got Grundy, Clayface, Ra’s and Mr Freeze which are all I think decent to Great fights. Origins has notably a lot more bosses and they again are good to Great with some poor ones, so maybe in knight they wanted to take it back on boss fights since we just had a game that had a lot. Idk would’ve been cool to have like 3-4 more proper fights in the different mission

All the side characters not part of the main story that you see him play as are part of it, the Harley and Batgirl missions you see (fighting Nightwing, fighting Joker). One of them is Jason as Red Hood going after Black Mask, he just has Jason's Arkham Knight skin activated instead of the Red Hood one he's supposed to be wearing.
