Klay has one season where he shoots less than his usual 80% and we give him the Carmelo Anthony treatment. I said Melo wasn’t washed in Houston when everyone tried to blacklist him, and I’ll say the same thing about Klay. He’ll be a great third option in Dallas
@accountname98723 ай бұрын
Klay in Dallas is gonna be very fun and scary to me. I think klay might have gotten the yips in golden state. Let him chill with kryie and luka and get in the groove and klay will be a great asset.
@saul-goodman3 ай бұрын
@@accountname9872 If Klay gets hot, he can still hit 14 threes in a game. That’s a skill that never goes away. I don’t think they really knew how he fit into this GS team but in Dallas, he’ll be good for 16 ppg and hit big shots down the stretch
@accountname98723 ай бұрын
@saul-goodman absolutely perfectly said. Shooters can shoot. Reminds me of his cold streak before covid then one game he hit a bunch and looked at his hand and said "I missed you" or something like that.
@saul-goodman3 ай бұрын
@@accountname9872 I think he can play even longer than Curry since Curry has PG skills that will regress over time but Klay has always been a guy you can hit with an open look and he’ll knock it down from anywhere. It’s a very easy skillset to translate into an aging player’s playstyle. Melo wasn’t washed in Houston, Klay isn’t washed in Dallas. He’ll surprise a lot of people this season and possibly win his 5th championship. Possibly.

TJ Warren was mad good for like 2 seconds. Basically 19-20 was the only full season he played where he balled out. Played 67/73g, 32.9MPG, 67GS, 19.8/4.2/1.5/1.2/0.5, 1.3TOV. 53.6% FG on 14.9att 40.3% 3P on 3.4att 57.5% 2P on 11.5att 82% FT on 3att. Then all 4 of their playoff games where he avgd 20/6.3/3/2.3 on 47% FG, 37% 3P on 4.8att, and 100% FT on 2.3att. I’m not even an Indiana fan but I was hoping he’d stay healthy after that. He had crazy foot problems like plantar fasciitis, then mad stress fractures in his foot where he had to have numerous surgeries. 17-18 he played 65G, put up 19.6/5.1/1.3/1/0.6, 1.3TOV on almost 50% FG. 18-19 only 43GP but 18/4/1.5/1.2/0.7, 1.2TOV. 48.6% FG, 51% 2P on 10att, 42.8% 3P on 4.2att, 81.5% FT on 2.9att. 17-18 he played 65G, 18-19 only 43G, then 19-20 played 67/73g and 4/4 playoff games. 16-17 played 66G too so I was like damn he prolly won’t ever be a 72-75+ game player, but if they load manage him and he rests b2bs, he could play mid 60s games a year and 32-33MPG and have a fantastic career. Bc he was 26yo in 19-20, so I figured maybe he could do that for another 4-5 seasons at a high level, (27-30 or 31yo, then maybe be a 6th man 25MPG guy for a couple years after that) and he was 6’8 220-225 with a 6’10+ wingspan. 18-19/19-20 reg seasons then 19-20 play in/playoffs showed he could at least hit C&S 3, at least corner 3s. Enough to space the floor, maybe 38-40% on 4att or whatever. Sad he kept having those foot injuries. Those will cook you, the plantar fasciitis that becomes chronic then keeps rupturing and turns in to infinite stress fractures. Can’t do anything but rest and if it doesn’t heal just nothing you can do. At least he got one bag for 4/47M, 58.8 career earnings. He actually signed two 10 days with MIN, then contract for last cpl months for 23-24.

Dude rly dropped 53/4/3/2blks, 1TOV on 20-29 FG, 9-12 3P, 4-4 FT in 40MP against Philly. HARD carry too, rest of team had 74p and nobody had >15pts 😂
