I put mine in the same place. The horns sometimes vibrate themselves loose but it's fun. Road ragers just about jump out of their seats lmao.

Thanks for the inspiration. I installed my compressor vertically with large hose clamps on the rear drivers side role bar, it looks like you already have something mounted there. Ran the wires and hose down through the grommet you pointed out, ran them along the frame above the gas tank, and installed the horns up in the tub cavity behind the passenger side rear wheel, horns pointed toward the ground. It's pretty stealthy!

I’m sure some modifications you probably could I don’t see why not it’s 125psi might take some time, but it would work probably

Fact This exact kit has a false air pressure gauge. It tells you that the pressure is at 115psi, when in reality it's around 70psi. I learned this by installing a gauge inside my truck and it was way off from the tank gauge. I racked my brain trying to figure it out before I finally accepted the truth and replaced the tank gauge with a normal one and saw the truth. This company flat out is ripping people off and lies in their advertisement of this product. The max it will compress to is however, 120 psi. I found this out by bypassing the pressure switch and letting it run till it couldn't create anymore pressure

Good to know! If it works tho, that’s all I care about.

@@joshritchie_media fyi, for about $10 go to local hardware store and buy a few feet of 3/8" inside diameter hose and 1/8"npt male to 3/8" barb fitting X2. One fitting obviously goes in the horns solenoid and the other replaces the dinky little 1/4" fitting at the tank. The difference is night and day. I did this to mine and it was almost twice as loud...and deeper sounding.
@FatDomGamiello2 жыл бұрын
And if you really want to get more sound out of it, for $8 on Amazon you can order a new pressure switch, specifically a 120psi off/90psi on. This is the maximum this compressor can handle. I also did this to mine and it's almost too loud. It physically hurts my ears if the window is cracked. You just have to make sure it comes in 1/8" npt thread since almost all switches come standard in 1/4"npt, and that will not fit into your tank. However, your local hardware store will have the ,1/8" to 1/4" adapter, if you need it, for about $3.

@@PeterPedroA.Cintron-421Pc Hornblasters has top tier horns.. but for a budget kit this certainly gets the job done. If you don’t know how to wiring up electrical, stay clear of this. There was a lot of troubleshooting to get mine to work which is why I didn’t film the wiring process
