It's been an absolute pleasure helping you with this project. It still blows me away how awesome it turned out. Looking forward to the next collab, and REALLY hope this video goes viral. 🤞

He actually looked hard without the white eyes too
@bloodlinefilms2 күн бұрын
the white eyes only make sense as a kind of safety visor that can be flipped down. keep the blood and debris out of his eyes. we see blood splash on the white parts in more than one deadpool movie so as part of the mask and not a stylized eye i buy it.

Thats a wide-ass looking mask. Too wide. But DP3 is proof that Wolverine should've gotten the white eyed mask long time ago.

I don't think the wideness of the mask or other reasonably exaggerated costume features are issues. Speaking of the white eyes, this shows it could easily work with live-action Batman too, even though both the execs/designers and audience are skeptical and unimaginative
@SceneComparisons2 күн бұрын
I love the dedication but the 3D model of the mask was off it should fit design wise with his suit
@augusta19942 күн бұрын
100%, shouldve at least recolored it to match the suit since the design already fits imo

The original X men films had no color and were just black suits, so a fully black mask with no yellow would have been more fitting.

Even though the white eyes are usually better, I think that the render where we could see his eyes looked a lot better and more like it was part of the shot.

That’s why Batman never has his white eyes
@TheRealCaptain3142 күн бұрын
You should add white eyes to batman and animate them like Deadpools eyes!
@SlytheBat2 күн бұрын
The problem is, those animated eyes don't really suit Batman. Deadpool is goofy and fun, so those animated eyes suit him. But Batman is dark, brooding and serious, and hardly ever even shows emotion in the first place.
@TheRealCaptain3142 күн бұрын
@SlytheBat I disagree if you could animate them to fit the batman the animated series eye aesthetic it would be peak.
@OnlyLocus2 күн бұрын
yeah I've been waiting for a Batamn Live Action with the classic white eyes
@TheKingoftheAesir2 күн бұрын
@SlytheBat Well, with a version like Pattinson, his eyes legit are such an important part of his performance that you couldn't have the white eyes covering that aspec of the character.
@KairuHakubi2 күн бұрын
@TheRealCaptain314 wait so you want the entire eye-hole of the mask to be white? Not just the actor's eyeballs? That'd be an interesting look, I'm not sure it'd work in live action... and if you did do that, yeahh I guess you'd need to animate them at least a little, or it'd look quite strange being so static. I was amazed when i found out they cheated Bruce's head in BTAS and made it taller than Batman's head (basically the nosebridge is eliminated so he can have that classic Alex Toth tiny nose spike) but once I tried to wrap my head around it, it made some sense that Batman's trademark little white triangles are not directly centered on his eyeballs, but just the lower half of them.

Respect for going straight for the hardest shot possible. It could've been a nice, well-lit locked-off shot where he slowly walks offscreen, but nope. I was going to do some nitpick about how the cigarette light looks a little big and seems to hit places it shouldn't be able to reach, but I've watched the side-by-side frame-by-frame and I honestly can't tell if it's real or just the mask shape catching it differently. That's how good this is.

This looks great for the DoFP suit! If Wolverine wore his iconic mask with his costume from the original movies, I think the two biggest things that would be different is 1, not including the white eyes(as that was not something movies did back then for Batman-like masks), and 2, making the mask all black but with gold trimming around the original black parts, to match the rest of the suit.
@matthiusdofre9259Күн бұрын

As much as I always wanted to see Hugh in the mask since 2000 and LOVED seeing him in Deadpool - I can see why they opted to not use it in the older films. The cool thing is, we now have a multiverse variant that can be in Avengers films and wear the classic outfit without connecting it to the Fox film series - it's a perfect win! I'd love to see the brown and tan costume used in future films though for this version.
