When I'm not sneaking in the shadows, I'm in the open trying to distract the raider from getting my teamates. Had several raiders chase me on bulmas bike. Some of them really commit to the chase.

Everyone that thinks Raider is too OP: *quits before Lvl 20* Everyone else: *Lvl 80+ Survivor* I'm already playing with Lvl 100 Survivors, which is literally impossible to get at this point of the game unless you SURVIVE CONSTANTLY. And I'm on console, so it ain't hacks either.

And before anyone spits about Friend-only lobbies: I'm past lvl 80, reaching 90 soon. Not a cent spent. And only played on rando lobbies. It's NOT that the Raiders are too OP - it's that it takes a while for players to understand how to play the game. Playing Raiders is easy to pick up and play - playing Survivors is difficult. Making them equal in learning curve would remove the entire concept of this game (and then you'd just have another arena fighter game).

I just started 2 weeks ago, and I won my first 7 games in a row and my first 3 games as a raider... I am now a pro survivor that either wins the game or dies at the very end.

Watch more experienced people playing like Steedoj or Prolefsi (they aren't the best but they sure have a lot of knowladge and videos about the game, so you might learn a lot by watching them) and play with friends so you can communicate and make better plans. The raider is unbalanced but you can outsmart them if you learn more about the game and gain more battle experience.

@@dice9270 raiders aren't exactly unbalanced. It's still very easy to beat the raider. The issue is EVERYONE is looking for dragonballs and will ignore the objective to search for them. So the objective doesn't get done even as the raider makes it to level 4

I solo play a bunch as the survivor. When you have players who have the basic idea of how to play, beating the raider isn't that hard.

Except when I’m the survivor I never get those teams and when I’m the raiders I’m always against god-tier survivors who can beat me in .05 seconds, I still have no idea how the combat works at all because I’ve not had a chance to figure out anything, I always get teamed up on when the raider…

I've seen a lot of people win as survivors by either activting the super time machine or straight up killing the raider, so it defenitly isn't imposible

Its probably more fun with friends. Maybe you can try teaming up with Rhymestyle and his crew of friends. They're pretty good at it by this point.

@jackthebus the red line around your character means your Barrier is broken and you need to use a barrier recovery Device also you shold get emergency escape divice and power charger from the shop they can help you out a lot.

Honestly the raiders are so easy to win against. Just have a functioning brain stem and you've probably won. Unless 5 people on your team are braindead you'll win.

I wouldn’t say skill issue, in his defense the game does have a bit of a learning curve, but it’s entirely possible to get good at and pull off some crazy plays in clutch moments.

Frieza is unreasonably broken. I’d get it if he was just really strong, of course he’s strong. He’s Frieza. My problem stems from the fact that he’s UNSTOPPABLE. Seriously, I’ve never lost as Frieza, and I’ve never been able to beat Frieza, either. It’s a similar case to Buu as well, it’d be fine if he was just really good, but he’s nearly impossible to beat. The only time I’ve ever beaten Buu is by BARELY escaping by myself against someone who was just HORRIBLE at the game. And guess what? EVERY other one of my teammates, LITERALLY ALL OF THEM, had died. The only raider that’s *close* to being balanced is Cell, but there are still huge problems with Cell, including the fact that he gets level 2 before any survivors even get to level 1, and his ki blast volley move in level 3 is quite literally impossible to avoid. And of course there’s the huge issue of EVERY RAIDER DOES WAY TOO MUCH DAMAGE AND TAKES BASICALLY NONE. I kid you not, yesterday we had a level 4 dragon change, two level 3’s, and three level 2’s ALL AT ONCE and they still lost to Semi-Perfect Cell. What was I doing you might ask? Trying to finish the super time machine. Key word is trying, I kept getting hit by Cell’s ki blast volley and having to run away and find barrier recovery devices. I ended up dying permanently at the end. Also, the blast volley wasn’t even aimed at me the first time he did it. Anyway, point is the Raiders are way, way, WAY too strong.

Dude i am a HUGE Dragon Ball fan, so much so i even imported Dragon Ball Sagas and i own Dragon Ball Evolution on PSP and after i played the beta of this i said nope not getting that othis isn't a Dragon Ball game, it's evolve with a DB skin It feels like they threw this game out to just have a DB game out this year (probably to fulfill their contract with Toei, it's DBZ Kinect all over again)

I just won a game where my camera got stuck on another player and still managed to win and be the only survivor lmao. It was wild fighting while using someone else's camera. Then I was able to win because the super time machine was at 99% and I simple punched freeza for the win hahahaha

Try the blue tanks they reactivate your barrier which is what that red circle is warning that you can be downed in one hit. Also senzu bean revivals make it so that if you are downed again that is the end of the match for that character without a revival chance

To be honest, I like the game, and I agree, it just takes time to learn how to play properly, but once you do the game can create some fun tense moments. It has a steep learning curve, and while the gacha system gives some skills, there are other skills that are equally good from the start or in tye store (Bulma's bike, Grappling Hook, Zipline, Charming pose, Escape device, Hovering device...). Personally, I feel like the abilities are not what makes a good survivor, but rather how they use them, how they manage their resources and how they position themselves on the map.

Like sure if people like the game good on them and that's great, but you're not going to convince me that this company dropping a $25 game that's fully reusing assets isn't some bullshit

The Yakuza/Like a Dragon series is the king of reusing assets, like they have been reusing assets for combat and cutscenes since the first game nearly 20 years ago, but most of the games they make are so great that no one cares. The writing and characters are nothing short of amazing most of the time, and the combat is so fun and often time over the top violent that the assets that do get reused don't take away from the experience. Now keep in mind, I'm not defending THIS game, as I haven't played it since it just doesn't really appeal to me. I'm just saying that reused assets aren't automatically a bad thing. Because in Yakuza's case, those reused animation free up time and budget to be allocated to more important parts of the game than the random side quest where you stumble across a pair of siblings that are mugging people and make the mistake of targeting a character who's practically Japanese Batman without the money or gadgets.
