I like watching this game reviewer SomecallmeJohnny. I think most creators with over 100k subscribers like him use patreon and affiliate/product links to make money from KZbin so maybe you could do that eventually. I believe it also takes time to build an audience so it may take a few years before getting "i can live on this now and just do KZbin" amount of money but the best things in life don't come easy. Good luck my dude 🎉

Thank you for your reflections, Seve! I'm so happy when young people like you write for young people, about the stuff we as old people would like to confirm/affirm: that it is so important that you can take the next steps to live your own life, to be a bit brave and proactive, but not reckless - don't set out over the Atlantic, if you haven't learned to sail in the Balitc sea first. Be courageous and listen to those who have done it. My experience (now looking back from the perspective of retirement) is that it takes at least 2 years to get a new major project going a bit smoothly, and I think preferably I should have given it three years, before calling it a cul-de-sac. It s easy to give up tooo soon. And turning back is no shame, you can always do it, you'll always have learned something, that you'll never know how handy it will come in one day. In other words, as you, Seve, have the mind-set of learning and sharing, you are always on the right track. So all the best wishes and kudos for the videos.

Thank you for sharing your journey with us. I admire your all-in commitment, authenticity, and calmness. I've heard you talk a lot about balance, and I'd like to know how you implement balance into your everyday life because I struggle with it, especially on the mental side. Would love to see different kind of your video like lifestyle, activity and adventure too!
@SunnyKindJourney3 ай бұрын
Thank you for your kind words! 😊 Balance for me basically means two types of things - balance in every area of life (not sacrificing for example my health for career or social area) and then balance as in taking breaks and not pushing myself mentally too much. Also, for me there are periods when I focus more on certain things but that's balance as well. Not always things can be perfectly balanced. Regarding the mental balance, recognizing what is taking away that balance from you and then what could be a counter act for that (so balancing the unbalancing factor if that makes sense) is very important. This is super personal as well so it depends on your life situation and things that bring you that self-care. Hope this helps even a bit! 😊

I have been disabled for over ten years now and I am struggling to find a way back out of it so that I can sustain myself and my needs. It is very easy to think about just getting a job somewhere, anywhere, but I know in the past that was terrible for my health. I am trying to find a way forward that is sustainable and fulfilling. I find such inspiration in your story, I don't think that my future is ever going to sit well with consumerism and capitalism. I have to find a different path.

Just what I needed, thank you. I'm a Swiss high school teacher (and I'm not even bad at what I do) but I've been struggling for the last couple of years with how much work, social relationships, planning, evaluating etc the job requires on a day to day basis. I love creating good learning materials and have always been very creative but the job doesn't pay you for that kind of extra work. You're supposed to work efficiently, otherwise you'll work in your freetime. As a teacher, you're in a constant performance situation. I love giving workshops and teaching, but not all day, everyday. It really takes so much energy. I've been wanting to switch to being a learning material author because I love creating, writing, filming and the likes and I love learning and teaching, just not always being in front of people and organizing their days or managing their moods. Thank you for being a kind-hearted inspiration. I am going to resign next week and try to take the next steps. I already have a plan😊

Quitting as a freelancer, it’s not really the same…
@SunnyKindJourney3 ай бұрын
I mean, for many it might not be but I considered it a job. Working in a fixed position with an hourly rate every day for multiple hours. At least for me it was a job, I guess just with worse conditions because there were 0 paid holidays or health benefits 😄
@BibBobBibOnVacation3 ай бұрын
@@SunnyKindJourney I meant, the mentality of the employees is a different as one of the freelancers. The freelancer lives always with risk to loose the client, you learn to live with this, so it’s not the same for me to compare. I see your point, unfortunately I disagree here with you. But I watched your video, so success?
@SunnyKindJourney3 ай бұрын
@@BibBobBibOnVacation Yeah I agree with you on that one. Usually freelancers have a very different mindset. I have to say I also have a more entrepreneurial mindset. In this case I was not worried at all to lose them because it was a position they needed to fill. So if the company wouldn't go bankrupt, they would need someone to do that job I was doing. They could have easily hired me as an employee but I think it was cheaper for them to just get someone to work with a freelancer contract. And yes, thank you for watching my video and I enjoy conversations like this where we don't have to agree on certain things but can explore the topic together. I believe it's the way to expand your mind and see things from different perspectives. Have a good one! 🌟
