Burned out isn't the word for me. More like a walking dead. Some nights I would sit in the car before going home and tears would start to form. God is my plan so I'll be alright

Sorry to hear that. I suggest starting with making a list of skills you have acquired throughout your work history and then list what jobs you are interested in where you can transfer those skills to your new role. Often we overlook all the skills and knowledge we gained over the years. I wish you the best and even without a plan I know things will workout for you. Stay encouraged!

This... I am struggling with career burnout... somedays I feel like I can push through and then somedays I just want to quit. I sort of started planning and set aside some funds. Just can't bring myself to take the leap yet. I also like to do stock trading which brings some income but it is random... one week I can make 1000... then the next week it could be nothing at all. Everytime I think I just want to stock trade full time for a while until i figure out what next step to make, then anxiety kicks in and I start doubting myself.

Deciding to leave a career job is not an easy decision. I suggest only doing it when you know that you will have no regrets. When I resigned from my job I had zero regrets. It was not the easiest transition, but life has come full circle for me. Keep on saving and when the time is right you will know. I wish you the best and hope you stay encouraged. Also make sure you do self-care to help you refresh yourself.
