the new versions of vegas are mostly just the same program with new features bolted on top. they might be a little more stable and faster (they went heavy on advertising gpu acceleration at one point) but at the end of the day it's still the same backwards convoluted piece of shit it's always been. all in all, good call on your end i reckon, i should probably do the same
