I Raced with "A" Rated Drivers in GT7 (PSVR2) Daily Race B // Checking your Times on my Leader Board - We are headed to Nurburgring which is Daily Race B in Gran Turismo 7 running with Group 3 cars. I raced it in PSVR2. I recently hit a Driver Rating B in GT7 and in this race I was placed with a bunch of A Rated Drivers! How well can I do? Watch and find out. Also, I am looking at my Friends Leader Board to see where all you guys who friended me are ranking on my list. Who is going to win in the end of the week? We'll have to see. There are some good time on that board for all the Daily Races.

After getting frustrated by this game, I came to the same conclusion as you. I stopped caring about losing my DR rating. I don't care if I lose a place. Just focus on being clean and consistent and hopefully get better. I feel I've improved since then. Make sure to check out Race C. Really good. Recommend the Ferrari as it fuel saves really well.

Great race! Love seeing the timings from the community. The tip of my left thumb has gone permanently numb from using the controller. Need to get a wheel! Might help my lap times too 🤷

Dude I had the same problem. Couldn't do anything longer then 11laps before my hand going completely numb. Had to turn of adaptive triggers n all. Gave up and Grabbed a G923 now no problem at all. Was slower for the first 2weeks and nearly gave up but then I worked out a few things then started improving further then I had before. Definitely adds another level to the game.

Dude try Gyro steering it's the next best thing to a wheel imo. I put hundreds of hours and if you on ps5 with dualsense it gives you poor mans ffb which is so good.

Noticed improvements with your inputs overall. Slow in fast out is starting to come through. Finally got a chance to jump on lastnight and put a 1:28.08 on race B. The whole community thing is awesome. I'm positive it will incentivize us all ti do better and also put more time in to this great game.

​@@thecasualracinggamer definitely give Race C a shot. When it comes to the race itself just use the hard tyre and short shift most of the time unless overtaking.

I'm jad VR in your friends list. I'm just doing race C this week. I like to focus on one track per week. Grind for a good lap time, then race the rest of the week and try not get taken out 😅

So, I finally got a PS Plus subscription today. I did a couple of hours in race B but it was mostly learning the track and trying different cars. I still don't understand that "BOP" thing which I guess is there to level the cars. In the end I did just one race, my first one, and I won 👍🏻 I started first and managed to survive the first sector in P1 after one bump from behind. From there on I stayed in front. I still feel weird because I didn't have any race info, not even the gap to the next driver, so I felt a little lost...

There's advantages of being able to look into an apex and out but anything you practice with you can get fast with. There are people who are fast on controller.

I originally had it and swapped it out. The issue with VR footage is the stability and people not enjoying the shakiness. In some of the my videos where I use the VR capture I have stabilized it in post but it's very time consuming for that much footage. My intention is not to never use the VR capture. I will definitely use it in videos. Appreciate the feedback.

You want to be with the higher class drivers. Sometimes they mess up or get taken out. If you end up in front of them, guess what... more DR for you. 👌

@@thecasualracinggamer Correct. You've done really well so far with your SR by keeping out of trouble. That helps you get into the higher lobbies. GT7 wants you to improve so it will try to put you in races with better drivers than you. It's a great way to push yourself. And because you like to drive clean, you'll keep climbing faster than those who don't drive clean, even if they are faster. Again, well done. It's drivers like you who get the most out of the game. Longevity. And a whole lot of fun along the way. Keep up the good work. 👍

​@The Casual Racing Gamer Saturday mornings eastern standard time works for me. Would love a lobby race but with my limited schedule I have yet to race in one. I see alot of folks doing 1 hour races at 24 speed to simulate a 24 hour race. Daytona, spa, nurburgring 24 layout will all go through a day night day cycle.
