GT7 (PSVR2) Daily Races are the Best! - If you're Not Racing Online, then You're Not Racing! In this video I discuss why I think everyone who enjoys Sim Racing and plays Gran Turismo 7 should be playing the online multiplayer Daily Races. As you will see in this video, the racing offers something you just cannot get when playing a single player game against AI opponents. The excitement of driving side by side with multiple cars of real drivers just offers an experience on another level, and doing it on PSVR2 makes it unbeatable!

Well said about peoples driving standards. I do disagree that bumping is ok, racing is far more fun and intense when zero contact and that takes real skill.

Pro drivers in the top level of the sport cannot always avoid bumping and contact with other cars. For us video game players, we need to expect it to happen or we will be sorely disappointed in the racing. I am not saying you should go out and bump other drivers on purpose, I'm just saying it's going to happen so don't let it get to you. Keep control of your car and drive on. A lot of people will get mad when it happens, always thinking someone did it on purpose. They will then drive for revenge or just start overdriving everything after that.

Well incidents and bumbs gonna happen anyways, no matter which game you play. Even at high ranks it still might happen at some point. And well, as we see, irl races do have a lot of touches and hits, crashes etc Its part of the sport.

Bumps are supposed to be avoided. If it happens but both players are unaffected (tough they are losing time to people behind and upfront!) it is ok. But if the overtaker gets an unfair advantage, he should give the position back or get a beefy penalty obviously.. In short, there is no good bumping, but s**t happens.

New to your community and channel here! Loving your commentary so far on having fun and racing in general. Just picked up a Playseat trophy, Logitech g pro wheel and pro pedal set for my birthday. Playing a racing game on controller never felt quite right. Wheels pedals and cockpit make it so much more immersive for GT7 on PS5. Only thing missing now is the PSVR2….giving my wallet some time to recover 😅

I've been howling for YEARS for races like this. GT7 is FAR more expansive in vehicle selection and tunes than GTS, and yet we've only had 2x different "Pre-Tuned" road car races... and this is the kind of racing that I equate Gran Turismo with and why it was fun! More Pre-Tuned that would be fun: - Kei Cars - Pony Cars and Muscle Cars - MR Sports - 90's Japan

so intense when you’re using psvr2, only play on GT7 in VR, it’s absolutely amazing, im half way to Driver Rating C but it’s still absolutely amazing, not won a race but had P2 a couple of times, i get really nervous when i’m near the front 😂

This race is definitely a treat for us VR players, being inside all those super nice cars feels great. I do wish more cars were viable but, in any case I ran with the BMW the first couple of days and did quite well and then I experimented with the Supra and half the time I was in the top five and the other half of the time I was in the bottom half of the field and I think I finished dead last on the last race and I was going back and forth between p14 and 15 and the guy I was racing with he and I had a good laugh afterwards as our cars look like they went through a trash compactor but we still raced respectfully. I actually bumped him pretty bad on t1 and I stopped my car and let him pass me and now I made a new friend online which is another thing that you didn't touch upon in your video but you can actually meet good people because of the racing and how each one of you reacts to certain situations and then they become friends on your list and you compare qualifying times and maybe even work together on a future race helping each other draft and try and get up on a position.

I wish PD / GT7 would have players, like content creators and streamers, who purposely have qualifying times in their own lobbies. Thay stuff drives me insane, they cause so much problems in lobbies IMO

It's a great race but 2 or 3 more laps would be better and let us use our liveries PD but still a great race.

Enjoying your channel as a VR2 owner but also with an interest in PC sims and possibly buying a PC headset again... Having built a new PC system recently 7800x3D / 7900XTX I am curious how well VR is now running on that level of AMD hardware and with recent fixes they had made?

Gr 3 race is good this week (no tuning) Daily A good initiative from PD for Daily A.. Daily C Haven't tried it yet ..Trial mountain again...🤦‍♂️ Strong slipstream isn't my thing, although others might benefit in learning to pass other drivers.. but yes, it's a good week for gt7 overall. Just received the part to fix my laptop. To be continued..

@thecasualracinggamer Where should I be looking for daily races, are they out only some days like early in the week? I thought there’d be something that actually says daily race a, b, or c. Always hear about daily races but nobody says how to find them. I’ve looked and not finding it. Only been playing GT7 for 2 months, I guess I’m not looking in the right place.

You need to unlock it in single player mode. Then on the map, you go to Sport. That is where the online Daily Races are.

@@thecasualracinggamer thx a lot! I looked at the map and I’ve seen the Sport icon but ignored it, then forgot about it since I’ve been practicing on the world tracks so much. OMG I’ve could’ve been playing all this time. I tried it out and did the 3 daily’s, did ok on A and B but C was my worst since I got spun off track and was playing catch up the whole time. It was fun and a different environment, I didn’t like that I couldn’t always use my go to car that I’m so used to plus having to use sport or IM tires makes the car grip so much worse. I guess it supposed to balance the cars out. Some drivers still purposely run into you, my A race, but remembered to not engage. He ended up behind me.

Yeah, it stinks. Funny thing is, Fortnite can be played without any online subscription and that's a free game on top of it.

I do agree with you to a point, however is the cheapest monthly stable multiplier sim like you can get. Acc is descent but you can crash in someone’s “shivering” from unstable condition car and that will ruin you driver ratting outright even not your fault.

The problem starts wayy back then When ps3 offered free support to PlaystationNewtwork to play any online game as you wish, meanwhile Xbox Live has always been an paid service to play online As no one ever went against it, to the next generation, both PS4 and xbox had paid services to play online then. And now this service still, but instead now xbox and sony are going through different paths, but still asking you to pay to play online - but Xbox offers you games for "free" as long as you pay for the Live Service, and Sony never really been fan of this. But still asking to pay to play online.... Which is just sad So the root of the problem is older than we think...

@@HatoshiMedia yeah but it’s not just sims. There are loads of games that require you to pay for plus even though you’ve already paid for the game. You don’t need to that for Xbox Game Pass for example plus you get a load of free games inc. the new Forza
