So last week I ran my third marathon and I thought I'd try to make a vlog-style video about the experience to motivate you but above all, to teach you some English vocabulary with listening practice with authentic content.
In the video you'll see how I prepare for the marathon, how I run with real footage and of course, a review of everything at the end.

Watching you actually run the marathon was intense enough for me, I've never been too sporty, the thirteen minute PE resistance test in middle school usually zapped me, but for the last eleven years I've been working out in my bedroom, I jog in place and other stuff, also I walk everywhere.

I've only done one marathon in the past (2h27'), I've done many half marathons (my best 1h7'), don't give up and challenge yourself to go under Three hours wall💪 If I can give you any suggestions for your training just ask me, but I think you already have a coach .Thanks for your videos. Congratulations! You did great! How do you prepare yourself for a marathon? How often and how much do you go running?

Thanks a lot! Not as much as I should to be honest haha I’ve been running a few times per week this year, usually doing 10k each time but occasionally 20k and just once I did 30k before the race - but more recently I’ve been going to the gym during the week and only running once or twice a week because it’s been cold and wet

You can tell you could have done a better register, only by watching your face in the end. The next race should be under 3 hours, although you have to squeeze a bit.👍👍
