Many thanks Agbaletu for bringing YK on your show. He's such a truthful and humorous man. I really enjoyed his conversation and his personality. I want to use this opportunity to salute King Sunny Ade, Chief Ebenezer Obey, and Sikiru Ayinde Barrister for their sterling leadership qualities. They are truly Omoluabi.

I remember Sir YK Ajao very well. Him and Alhaji Kollington played for my Dad during his mother's final burial in '86. The whole streets was closed down till dawn.

Pa YK Ajao is really a humble man with talents. However his inability to break loose from Obey style really limits him. One lesson here is that no matter how challenging it may be the road to success is to be original even if you can not create new one you can still add something that clearly distinguish you. I salute Agabaletu for his professionalism. Well-done.

Another excellent interview from you, Dele. It's great to see and hear PYKA again. I love his humility and gratitude which goes very well with the fact that he himself acknowledges / recognises the fact that his success in music has been down largely to aspiration, helping hand from others and pure desire rather than on real talent. More grease to his elbow.

As at 1974, Wasiu Ayinde was only 16-17yrs old.. How true was that story that he has a band already hmm 🤔
