@@brucky556 if I remember correctly it’s actually a couple different mods working together. There’s an enemy randomizer, an item randomizer, and a fog gate randomizer. All three of them can be found on Nexus Mods and I did this on the remaster but I’m sure those mods exist for the original version as well.

If I recall the relevant Illusory Wall video it should be impossible (without a bug) for any enemy to jump out of Iron Golem's boss arena. It has invisible enemy walls and the tumble animation of the Golem is whitelisted to pass through IIRC.

I actually consider myself pretty good when it comes to mid-rolling. The big difference between fast and mid-rolling is the much longer recovery time. It’s still good for dodging away from attacks, but dodging through them is harder due to having slightly less speed and frames. Combined with a shield, this works well on 95% of enemies in DS1 due to their slow speed.

The Elden Ring fog gate + item randomizer is the most fun I've had in any souls game. I encourage you to give it a shot. Tons of fun & you're just going from dungeon to dungeon instead of traversing the open world. You *can* go out into the world, but theres no way to get back into the dungeons without teleporting. Its basically only useful for opening chests & grabbing loose item spawns. All golden deeds and & such are all instead moved inside dungeons. It's a good time.

Saw another guy who got Centipede demon for the 2nd phase of Ornstein and Smough. He also got Ornstein 2nd phase in 1st phase, taking the place of Smough. Nito was technically randomized. Ive seen others, just happened to choose Nito (and thank the randomizer for it other enemies cannot damage the skeletons). Same guy got Ornstein 2nd phase instead. And saw Ornstein and 2nd phase right next to each other in the Valley of Drakes (and you think you got him a lot).

At least as far as bosses the randomizer can throw at you over and over go, Ornstein isn't that bad. The last randomizer I did made me fight at least four Quelaags AND four sanctuary guardians- they were even the gargoyle duo. That run was so miserable until I lucked into the black knight greatsword.

Not a Pinwheel mechanic, just a general Dark Souls mechanic, quite sure it was prevalent in DS1 already, at least based on fighting Ian the Sanctuary guard. Water conducts so it boosts lightning damage and causes some AoE on watery surfaces.
