Nope. Haha! The Cavalry blue is definetly my favorite. Especially because they didn't use it afterwards on the 4R. I like solar octane, but it is a bit to orange and loud for me. Lime rush would be my least favorite

I love Solar Octane. The main reason I bought the TRD pro was for the solar octane color. I didn’t know they make the color available for other models the next year, I guess I could have waited. Doesn’t feel so special anymore.

Voodoo Blue is definitely #1 for me! But Solar Octane is so close, I absolutely love it as well. I’m not a fan of the boring “standard” looking colors that everybody gets. I want my car to stick out in a crowd, I can always find where I parked!

My ranking- 1. Voodoo blue- I own one so I’m biased 😂 but I sought out this color when I was in the market last year. Been my dream truck color combo since it came out in 2019. 2. Army green. If I didn’t get a voodoo I’d 100% woulda snagged this if I found the right deal. Green is my favorite color in general. 3. Lunar rock- when it’s done right it looks pretty awesome. 4. Calvary blue 5. Solar octane?- haven’t seen one in person yet so putting it here. Definitely seems promising 6. Cement- rare color you don’t see many and it looks good. 7. Inferno orange 8. Sand 9. Lime rush. Sorry to say but I absolutely hate this color. Definitely a matter of preference but I just can’t see the appeal.

Your list is good, although I might put Voodoo Blue first. It really is a tough call. I am sooo bummed about the Lunar Rock too. I gave up my 22 yo 3rd gen SR5 in 2021 for the TRD Pro and was excited to have that “special” Pro color. Oh well!

Sidebar 1: As far as Tacos and 4runners go, nothing day in and day out looks better (rugged AND classy) as magnetic gray metallic. Stays "cleaner" than black, yet has rich reflections and not anywhere near as boring as silver and/or cement. Lunar rock bridges or links "a little different" w/ center strike zone for most people's taste in vehicle color - hence your poll answers. Voodoo Blue is very satisfying w/ black (the contrast ), yes, it has a nice "pop", it knows who it is. For me, Calvary Blue, its a blue w/ an identity crisis. As a professional illustrator and designer - I can't recall every really wanting to use a "jeans" type hue in a design/layout? Is what it is. Army Green - c'mon it's pea soup. Sorry, it's ugly outside of the Army (That's why you have to tech it out w/ stuff to look halfway decent, as you pointed out). Not a fan. I'm okay w/ the Lime rush and octane stuff. Don't dislike, but not in love. Is the next Toyota color going to be the deep/candy type red that I'm starting to see from other makers? I'm not a red guy, but they do catch your eye - very rich looking - its' that effect a lot of football teams have been using w/ the color on their helmets in the past several years - has a lot of "depth" to it Sidebar 2: As far as a real flash vehicle color... since childhood,, and not being much of a true motorhead, nothing burns into your retina like a deep midtoned purple on a muscle car. Maybe it speaks that I was in elementary school in the 1970's, but to this day, when I see a purple car (done well) it's like wow, especially a 70's muscle car (no I don't want a purple Toyota). Kind of like, did seeing hip hugger jeans on women ever really go out of style in dudes' mind, ever? Uhh, Gloria Vanderbilt style high waisted jeans - HARD PASS! Yet those high wasted jeans are coming back again - ehhh.

Just got a 2024 TRD off road in solar octane. Wasn't my top pick. Was going to get lunar rock but i was too late in ordering mine so i had to get a 2024 but still wanted an exclusive color so i settled with solar octane. Never seen one in person until i took delivery of mine. Loved the color right away when i saw it in person and it does change color a lot depending on lighting. I think if i was able to pick any color for mine, it would be army green or cavalry blue though but definitely love my solar octane.

Got 22 Lunar Rock ORP and love it. Changes color in different lighting. Looks good with silver valances and ORP wheels. Yeah its on other vehicles but still hard to get on 4R. All the colors are good though. Im hoping there is a Goldenrod yellow 4R some day.

Army green is my favorite, especially combined with the black fender flares on the Tacoma TRD Offroad/Prob. Solar Octane is probably number 2. Not a huge fan of Lunar Rock, personally.

It looks good in the gray and also navy blue stock colors. I bought my ORP white which looks incredible with the blacked out everything else, wheels, badges etc. Why? White is forever, resistant to sun & you’ll always find it for touch-ups as it doesn’t get discontinued.

Not taking rarity or exclusivity into account, just how it looks imo, from best to worst: 1. Voodoo Blue - if my CTR wasn't a similar color, this would have been my choice 2. Solar Octane - my choice, fun color, love how it pops, waiting for allocation 3. Quicksand - very unique on the road, makes you feel like a tacticool operator 4. Lunar Rock - unique, catches my eye 5. Army Green - fits the 4runner nicely 6. Cavalry Blue - nice but a bit boring imo 7. Inferno Red - hurt by solar octane which is much more eye catching 8. Cement - boring 9. Lime Rush - way too much, hurts my eyes, gave up my 2022 allocation spot when I saw one in person

People are just scared of color and they LOVE boring greys. Solar octane is my number one. You hit the nail on the head with cement. It’s hard to tell if it’s silver or cement and it’s definitely just boring. You also hit the nail on the head with lunar rock. Seeing it on a rav4 and a trd sport trim 4runner is absolutely disgusting and completely ruined it. My number 1. Solar octane 2. quicksand 3. Cavalry 4. Voodoo 5. Army 6. Inferno 7.cement 8.lunar rock 9. Lime-so gross lol

So interesting, Lunar Rock has been my least favorite color of all time since it came out. In general never liked that weird new "gray" color trend (Jeep's similar color is even more atrocious). Gotta go with Cavalry Blue for me, but personally cars only come in two colors: white or black! :D

Lunar Rock is my #1... waiting on mine to come in now. TRD OR with the Blackout OR upgrade package. I currently have an 2014 FJ, white. It's that creamy white. We had a taco in the same color years ago. I think it is called ice, but we always called it Japanese White. Sad to let my FJ go, but I have wanted the Lunar Rock 4Runner since I 1st saw it.

It seems like those really gaudy colors - solar, inferno, lime - are much more popular back east/in the South. On the West Coast and in Hawaii, colors like Quicksand, Cement, and Lunar Rock tend to be favored. Just an observation.

I’ve always loved the color green even as a kid so I have the TRD AG love it! But the bright colors are really awesome the lime green looks awesome to me and reminds me of a lime skittle every time I see one I’m like ooooh 😂the octane is also really cool so bright and for the blues I like the Calvary blue a lot if I went with blue that would be the one I like the quicksand color as I really like earth tones that it a good chill color I’ve ever really been a fan of the pastel or pasty grey color I do love grey but it’s just kinda to boring for the TRD I think maybe 🤔
