tbh, i don't think ch2 s5 was bad. we got bounties, exotic weapons, NPCs, gold, three new weapons, some new landmarks (butter barn, Mandalorian hut), and 4 new pois (salty towers+ colossal colleseum+hunters haven+stealhy stronghold). this season had so much content and is honestly very underrated

In my opinion this chapter had some overrated and underrated seasons and seasons that were just forgettable. Chapter 2 season 1 was fun, but pretty forgettable because it barely had updates and was so longs. Chapter 2 season 2 was fun, but in my opinion it was a little overrated because there were constant delays for the next season which made there be around a month of no updates around April or something like that and most of the mythics were spam weapons (except for the Deadpool mythics). Chapter 2 season 3 was a little underrated though. The vibe was just chilling with friends and having fun with friends while in quarantine. Chapter 2 season 4 was also pretty good too. I feel like it was close to if not the best season this chapter. Chapter 2 season 5 was actually kinda fun for me and I loved it. I just remember playing with friends after virtual school and it was kinda chaotic at moments. There was something about it that felt weird throughout the season but I don’t really know what it is. All I can say is that I think it’s pretty underrated and had many updates that changed the game forever like bars or more story or even the collabs. Chapter 2 season 6 was just bad and forgettable. I had a few times of having fun with it. The crafting system was new but the way they put it out there was a little weird. The meta gif shotguns were weird cause there was the primal, then later the tac got added and they also nerfed the pump a little. The bows were fun and a few of the primal guns were good like the smg or rifle but other than that, it wasn’t that good. Chapter 2 season 7 was mediocre. The updates were good, but for content and not map changes. Around the end was where the POIs got abducted and that was mostly it except for holly hatchery. I didn’t play much of that season so I can’t say too much about it but it was mediocre. Then there’s the season we’re currently in, chapter 2 season 8. It’s fun, but it is dull. The sideways seems like a new cool feature, but there’s almost always a third party no matter what. It’s pretty fun with the new guns, cubes around the map, slipstreams where the crash sites are, constant updates but then there’s the annoying things like how it was pretty hard to get xp before and how some of the updates didn’t really make that big of an impact like the shadow wild week we have now. So with all these reviews of the seasons in chapter 2, I’d say it’s had its good and bad parts. Fun with friends, but bad with the updates and map changes. Before you comment “yOu DoN’t KnOw AnYtHiNg ShUt uP”, just remember this is my opinion for this chapter. Edit: didn’t know this would be that long so *TL;DR - chapter was fun, but not that good at the same time*

I agree with you in some parts, especially season 4, I think it was the best season of this chapter personally and some of the best the game has ever had But tbh, I really hated season 5, In fact, of all seasons I played (since chapter 1 season 3) I think that was like the worst season

Honestly I loved S5 almost as much as S2. The zero point desert looked really cool, we got an actual POI in the hills (Hunters Haven), we got Stealthy Stronghold with the Predator, a really cool BP which was based all around bounty hunters, and the two awesome POIs of Salty Towers and Colossal Coliseum

Season 2 was when I first started playing, and I have some great memories with my friends. I had about a 15% win rate, maybe more, but even when I lost I had fun. I really miss that season, it was something special.

Same, my friends and I would finish our online school and play and win most of the time. We always had a full squad, it was either me with my 2 close friends and one of their cousins or one of my other friends. We also had a whole structured plan depending on where we landed (mostly Grotto).

The thing that could’ve made Season 5 a lot more better is including the skins, each hunter would have their own weapon in the game. Honestly I took some big breaks this chapter and all I can say is that I greatly disagree on season 1 being above season 7, 5 and 8, that season Imo was just so dull and forgettable so much so to the point where it made me quit and I didn’t play again until season 5 which imo was dull at times but pretty fun salty towers was great the zero point desert with sand tunneling and crystals was great the map changes butter barn, collasal ect. Were great and like u mentioned exotics were cool season 7 I didn’t play most of for different reasons but I’d stay the start alone makes it better than season 1 for me and season 8 isn’t the best but I did like the venom mythics, constant updates the Fortnitemares with cube town and horde rush was dope and the loot pool this season was great all of which imo makes it way better than season 1
