Quickdraw/snapshot is honestly my favorite perk combo. I fell in love with it on my seventh seraph wayyy back in season of the worthy, and now reckless endangerment is close with perpetual. I don’t have the same range as some other shotguns, but it’s just so incredibly snappy I love it

Seventh Seraph is always my go-to shotgun. Got myself a complete god roll. Full Choke, Assault Mag, Quick Draw, Snapshot (which can be changed to trench barrel for pve) and a range masterwork to top it all off. Such a amazing shotgun.

I used over a thousand spoils to get the god roll Found verdict back then and ended up getting corkscrew+assault+surplus+opening+handling masterwork (unfortunately not full choke) and I have over 10k kills with it and I can confirm that this is by far the most consistent and overall best shotgun in the game.

I agree with their placement as a comparison to the other lightweights, but it’s just something about it that feels very consistent to me especially with quick-swapping like they had said. Overall a pretty good primary lightweight but probably not better than riiswalker or wastelander!

After this video I checked my vault to find the exact Fractethyst roll (full choke, accurized, quick draw, opening, handling mw) and decided to try it out in freelance over my Riiswalker (full choke, accurized, quick draw, iron reach, reload mw) and i definitely felt like the Fract was more consistent with that first shot being 100 range and a slightly faster pullout speed. farmed around 500 kills on it this weekend, Thanks to this video or else it woulda kept gathering dust in my vault. I knew the roll was good, but i didnt know it was THAT good.

Seventh Seraph Thorn (and sometimes Fatebringer) is definitely one of the best combos in the game imo. Leaving an opponent weak for longer is amazing for shotguns due to the pressure it puts on the opponent, and both weapons having stupid handling with any any build makes it so that you never even need to go for a one hit kill. Alternatively, Wastelander with Palindrome or Sunshot is also really good for the same reasons, but they lack the Thorn DoT that makes Seventh Seraph and Thorn so strong. I literally am never in a bad spot with the combo, because the speed buff helps me stay out of super long ranges and close the gap more easily, the handling lets me easily swap fire and adjust to close and midrange, and the Thorn DoT wins duels and can completely shut things down. Also snapshot is busted and slideshot pushes out that one hit kill range. Quickdraw isn't necessary on this gun, but it's still nice to have for some people.

I rolled a god roll CQC in the season it debuted with full choke, accurized, Quickdraw, snapshot. It's been my go to shotty ever since, even when felwinters was in its prime. I just like the feel of the lightweights, and this one feels the best to me.

I've said this 5000 times, but Timelost FV is the best in the game. Mine has Full Choke, Assault Mag, Auto loading, Opening Shot and a Handling MW w/ Adept Handling. Add quick Charge and this this has 88 handling (can feel faster with dexterity and targeting by ~5 handling) along with an 8m OHK range and 60 fire rate stat that increases with kills. My Favorite part is that it sits lower to the screen and the barrel is longer, making it ill further and not obstruct your screen. Since the gun has auto loading you don't have to worry about reloading and not having ammo since i would use it over surplus which adds no real additional benefit, slideshot is also perfectly fine. You can also swap to vorpal as a plus on the timelost version. I usher everyone to get a timelost found verdict as soon as you can, it is the single most consistent shotgun in the game and could be pair with kinetic primaries which by far are the best. :)

Full choke is actually irrelevant on aggressive frames, instead go for small bore if you need range, barrel shroud if you already have 60+ range so you can get more handling, or corkscrew for a mix of both

I think you're underrating slideshot on shotgun massively! its such a nice +20 range boost and the reload mid fight can help you clutch alot, especially on a lightweight where you can get to 100 handling with just quick charge

Hey, I know this idea might be kinda different than your normal weapon tier list videos, because they’re usually based around a weapon type, but I figured I’d mention it anyway. Have you considered making tier lists for all the new weapons of each season whenever they come out or are about to end. I feel like in terms of the amount of weapons you would cover it would probably be similar to your normal tier list videos. I definitely don’t know if this would be more difficult or something. I just think it would be cool to see how new weapons fall into the tier lists, without you having to make a whole new tier list for a few guns. I could definitely see why you would also do that though, if there was some kind of big meta change. Just thought I’d make a suggestion, even if it might not work out. elemental capacitor is really strong on pulses with void 3.0 being the go to for most people right now. other than that range and stability in the first 2 slots, and either a reload or damage perk. range/stability mw based on the archetype of pulse

Range is kinda nice, but I like their base range already kinda hard spec into stability with most of mine. Also not sure if I should go for a 100 recoil and sacrifice some range/stability (for example i have one with 88 recoil dirction, whats the differnce between 88 and 98? is it worth slotting there counterbalance or can I go with my preferred full auto trigger system on a rapid fire? same goes for another gun, base recoil of 80 and i I could use either arrowhead or smallborem which would help my stabilty and range, dont really need my mod slot for full auto due to its being a 340, what should iI use? how important is the 100% recoil direction?). Kinda like mine perfectly vertical, but cant tell if it matters that much due to the aim assist being that high in destiny already. Would still love to see him ranking all of those pulses

What a dope video. If anyone is like me and plays the ranged game but is looking for a comfortable shotgun to have for the maps that just demand it, I really recommend something with QuickDraw and snapshot. It lets you pull them out in emergencies and if just feels so good. And chances are you aren't ape'ing with it so it's just a defensive option. For that reason me and my retold tale go way back, because I'm a sniper player that prefers long range weapons. But when I need a shotgun, I pull out my speedy boy and play with my team. I just got so spoiled by QuickDraw and snapshot that I just never looked back. But don't bother tryna be an ape with it

16:25 Ragnhild main here. So, I've gone 1000 kills deep into this. And tested between barrel options, masterworks, perks and the lot. And, for this shotgun, honestly if you can fit it, use quick charge no matter what. So far, this shotgun has proved to be the most consistent shotgun I've ever used in this current sandbox. And, in the kinetic slot regarding currently obtainable weapons, this is THE best kinetic shotgun in the game currently obtainable. Rifle options and masterworks, the best choices are range masterwork, full choke, accurized. Sadly assault mag isn't that good on this as it needs the consistency or else it can't compete with even wastelander. Perks. Not on arc, run Perpetual Motion and Demolitionist. This will be the best roll. Don't enhance demo, enhance perpetual, level it up to at least 20 for stat boosts and you're good. Just as good as riiswalker in this state. Now, this perk combo has surprised me for arc. So much so that I'm willing to defend this until a new shotgun gets released in the kinetic slot. Full choke, accurized, range masterwork, STEADY HANDS, and Elemental. Use this roll specifically with quick charge. Now, you have 100 handling (perpetual motion does nothing for you now) and steady hands gives +100 handling AND snapshot in pvp. Including snipers, hand cannons, smg's, etc. Say, your hand Cannon is Pali. You have Full bore, high cal, range mw, and killing wind +rangefinder. Great range, horrible handling. After getting one ragnhild kill, your Pali now has max range, max handling, and snapshot. Basically for 8 seconds you have a QD Snapshot Killing Wind Rangefinder hand cannon. That is DISGUSTINGLY good. Steady hands isn't for your shotgun, it's for your primary. I've done 30 1v3's before flawless pool this weekend alone in trials, and the steady hands carried me all the way. You can swap between your shotgun, and hand cannon lightning fast, allowing for disgustingly good cleanups by both weapons. Now, this is directed to you PattyCakes. A Bungie dev a while back has stated publicly, "Zoom does not affect OHK range or consistency on pellet shotguns." So, it being changed to 12 zoom in fact did literally nothing to this shotgun except make it easier to use due to the lack of having to relearn a shotgun with a horrid amount of zoom. With a quick charge build, for trials and especially 6's, this shotgun is absolute S tier. Without however, in the kinetic slot it is simply B tier without arc and quick charge. Wastelander A, Riiswalker S.

As an avid shotgunner the difference between S, and A tier, is so minimal, it's almost interchangeable. Same with B and, C. A lot of it depends on your roll/feel for the shotgun too. (Like I hate the way matador feels, even though I have a real good roll.)

Flash forward to today: what has changed with barrels? I'm so confused. Everyone is telling me icarus is shit, or others say it still affects spread angle. Also have heard full choke sucks now, and that we should use smallbore or barrel shroud. Need guidance kimosabe

Technically LoW has 5-10 projectiles sooo I'm pretty sure that makes it a spread shotty. Jokes aside, I'd love to see a scout rifle tier list, seeing that the meta has shifted to be more inclusive of scouts.
