As someone who used to run winters all the way until the nerf. you're onpoint, but the damage was fun, and the extra range warlocks have with melees made it fun to combine with precision shotties, but with arc 3.0 it was wonderful, it could get chain kills then kills with more damage extremely quickly, it's great fun! until the nerf, where the damage became too little to actually be fun, and the nerf feels undeserved cause, I mean who the fuck used it? besides 5 other people complaining on reddit and people cheesing dul incarnu, there's no point to use it, I had fun in master nightfalls ad clearing with it, and completely nuking thrall who get too close, and doing some damage on bosses by being cocky and using damage resist and SPEED to run in and out of punching a boss, but besides that it was fairly useless, and now I couldn't get damage enough to get around the insane sponginess of nightfalls? I trashed it the instant I tried to play around with it, and used the loot to masterwork another set. Runnin' promethian spur, and, it turns out, I like using it with incandescent and void, and I wanted to look like a dragon. And I wanted to teleport around. So using a void buddy, I will never ever die. And I actually have drip surprisingly. Though it took a lot of thinking, I LOOK LIKE A FUCKING DR-... a griffin, I had to use the trials helmet and lightkin chestpiece and I look like a f***ing birb. But it's fun, and my abilities recharge really quickly, and I am tanky as fuck. And nightfall gameplay became just standing behind cover popping rift and, honestly seems fairly standard. Not as fun as felwinter, but I made a bad choice cause I had one with good stats, and, I'm ngl, I'm not willing to test what rift energy boost is better, I just get a lot and I get to use the void buddy a lot. And what more do you need lol, I don't disagree with your placing, it takes a lot to get the exotic to work, and it only has a niche ability in trials with a shotgun or a sidearm. It's not that good, and it's hard to use, but I got 8 and one of them was a 68 with high recovery and resilience sooooooo

Why yes, I am indeed a passionate about my sunbracers. 3/5 seems fair considering how niche build it requires to work optimally, but they can actually melt less mobile bosses. If you land all of your nades it can dish out 500k+ damage, which is nothing to scoff at. Max resilience with high strength and recovery, and the floor is indeed made out of lava. It's not meta or anything, but damn if it isn't fun to go bonk and yeet every 40 seconds or so.

As a Felwinter main; I can confirm that my reasoning is that I'm too lazy to change armor through subclasses but still need it to work. 👍 With reactive pulse, repulser brace, and group disabling... It's gotten me out of so many terrible spots I put myself in.

Necrotic Grips also works with Touch of Malice when you send out the taken corruption ball after reaching charged with blight x10. Honestly though, I just want to be a Hive Warlock because it's mad edgy.
