Here's a question I got to ask about the Gum-gum Fruit(also known as the Hito Hito nomi Model:Nika if you want to be technical about it) is that it is great when you awaken it and mastered Gear 5. Remember, Luffy ate this fruit when he was 7 and he is 19 at the start of One piece. So you need to train for at least a decade to do east blue Luffy level moves. No to mention Luffy had to die/become close to dead, multiple times. I understand that people be like "OoH, I wAnT LUfFy's DeVil fRuIt beCAuSe oF tHe toON fORce Of GeAr 5" when in actuality, they would hope to barely squeeze into Gear Second. But Hey that is my Opinion. By the Way, Get Fexr to 1 Million, we want the Bald Reveal.

I agree with this people hype up his fruit, but in it’s most basic form it is honestly pretty bad. You have your entire body change in a way we’re you can not control your body. They are right about the training thing. People forget that even luffy had to train for the longest just to make this thing realistically work, and luffy is a very talented individual. Luffy even trained with garp and ace. Most people couldn’t even use a gear due to the high physical demands or Haki requirements. You could at most utilize on East blue luffy’s level, but most wouldn’t be able to use it this well.

Thr nika fruit is only above the Azure dragon fruit when its awakened. When you strictly look at what the fruit is offering at its base: Nika fruit: Rubbery body, immunity to lightning, increased recovery rate due to mythical zoan and overall physical stat boost Azure Dragon: Kaiju sized full beast form, Blast breath at base can blow a mountain into chunks, dragon scales that greatly increase your defence, weather manipulation, wind manipulation, fire manipulation, Lightning and so on. The Azure dragon fruit clears, and the awakening probably grants you control over Luck/Prosperity/Fortune. The Nika fruit is only amazing when awakened and you need to have a luffy like personality to awaken, so you arent awakening it. Overall, the nika fruit is a sub-par df, its alright but not exceptional.

I don’t think the nika nika no mi is actually that good for a normal person. Luffy went to hell and back doezens of times over, died like 10 times and after all of that is that he managed to awaken his devil fruit. His normal abilities are good tho, no fall damage and immune to punches (not guns tho, luffy in the series is immune to round bullets but in the present the bullets are sharp). Overall it’s not bad at all, but it gets overshadowed by all of this devil fruits that grant you insane powers right off the bat.
