The OCD that went into this Celica build is so over-the-top, it would easily be worth over $200K to any Toyota fetishist. I am absolutely floored by the quality and care. Sarah, you are rapidly approaching GOAT status in the KZbin rebuild video game. I really can't think of a single human being who does it better. Wow.

This is one of those videos that other automotive channels wouldn't have even bothered filming, and if they did, people would have skipped past to other, more exciting build steps. However, with Sarah, nobody skips around and everyone WANTS these detailed parts of the build- mostly because of the extreme attention to detail, but partially out of fear of missing a robot joke!

I just spent the past couple days watching every single video of this build from the beginning and this is by far one of the best car builds I've seen. I used to do this kind of work for a private collector and yes putting a modern LS into an older model is pretty straight forward. I'm super impressed which is the same as regular impressed except I'm wearing a cape🤣

As you enter the home-stretch of this project, I remain a loyal fan and watcher. I never miss an episode !!! Cars of the early 1970s -- especially the Japanese manufacturers -- knew how to engineer and build quality automobiles. When the Celica ST first came to the USA in 1972 I was truly impressed with the styling and the engineering. Though I didn't buy one, I eventually owned two AE86 Corolla GTS models in the late 1980s. At the time, I was driving and tinkering with a BMW 2002 -- a model with a reputation for durability and practicality as well as engineering and performance. I'm still playing with the BMW 2002 and currently a 2002tii, there are days when I wish I still had my old AE86 Toyota Corolla GTS. Might be the hands-down BEST car I ever owned.

Suggestion for the oil cooler attachment... there are radiator zip ties and fan zip ties that are used to mount coolers/air con condensers and fans on the radiator by running them through the cooling fins. My '87 GMC pick-up had the transmission oil cooler, a/c condenser and the radiator all sandwiched together with radiator zip ties, from the factory. I'm lovin' this build!! Your adaptation ingenuity is off the charts.

Is there any chance that both the air dam and Sheet Metal valance were supposed to be installed together? I watched twice to see if you mentioned anything about it. But the way you phrase it in the finished edit it almost sounded like Toyota intended for the valance to be installed over the existing sheet metal. I could be wrong. I wasn't there to see how they would line up if someone attempted that.

Awsome work in this car, it's coming out to be a beautiful machine! 0:42 FYI, the Chassis codes are A for Celica, specifically A20 for that gen Celica and E for Corolla - E80 for that gen Corolla (E86 and E85). The first letter in the model code (RA25, AE86) is the engine family that was put into the chassis, which varied by the market it was destined to be sold in. Example, the old LandCruisers were FJ40s & BJ40s , gasoline ones had the F then 2F engines, diesel ones had the B then 2B engines (USA mostly got gas). Celicas had the 8R/18R/20R in the A20s (RA21, RA22, RA29) we got in the USA as well as a T engine in other countries (T, 2T/2T-B, 2T-G)
