Hii Aly! You seem like a very fun person. Really love your videos. Wish you could be my friend. It is really hard to find people who like reading in my country. Great video! I've read the main trilogy of 50 shades, kinda hiding it, but didn't like that very much. I was like 16 when the first book came out in my country and my mom gave it to me thinking it was harmless, as she saw lots of people reading it. It was funny to see her face when I told her it was explicit. lol. Then I read the other two book online out of curiosity.

I think she has a very gentle personality. Also he likes her because she looks like his mum which was a drug addict and she was very easily influenced because she was clearly not strong. And I think Ana is similar but her gentle personality can be confused for fragility. Although she does move away from him, she has opinions and instead of arguing things she just removes herself and let Christian work it out. Also she has strong values in the original series. When she confronts Christian about Misses Robinson and also the fact of how he reacts to them expecting a child. I think like in the first book she is really turned down of volume because imagine, you get to meet a very rich and influential man, he somehow is interested in you that work in a hardware shop and are just a commoner. He swarms you into this privileged life with the cost of playing kinky stuff and he puts lots of rules and a contract and stuff like that. I would as well be a bit shocked. Plus he doesn’t allow her to tell that to anyone or see her friends much, so she has no one to confide to. It’s confusing. Like entering into a cult in the daylight in a busy city. That’s why I don’t like the first movie and I never watch it or read that book.

These aren't the best books in the world, but I do like these better from Grey's POV. They're fun for a giggle. I agree with the after care stuff.

I was OBSESSED with Twilight as a teen. I mean I had posters, shirts, I went to the movie premier and everything. Looking back I have no idea how I thought the books were that good. I also loved 50 shades but reread it as an adult and thought it was horrid. It's so weird how different reading taste changes, but it's kinda cool too to see ourselves change.

Hi, relatively new channel viewer but I love your vlogs. Sorry to hear you've not been feeling well. I've never read 50 shades, I think I was 16 when the first one came out and missed the hype. I don't usually leave comments on anything BUT I had to make an exception because I just recently read 'The Last Kiss' by Anna Bloom and even though it's on Kindle Unlimited I had to buy a physical copy because it was so good. I wanted to recommend it because not many people know about it. Hope you feel better soon 😊.

You should do a random reader recommendations video (put recommendations in a jar and randomly pick them out!) might make a good mini series.

I love that idea but I'm such a mood reader I know I wouldn't follow through 🤣

I read them last year and i really liked them. The first books are my least favorites though with the whole dom/sub thing. In the second and third books where they become girlfriend-boyfriend and later get married i liked those better. From Christian's pov there are two more books. So it's nice to see his thoughts on asking her to marry him and later with the baby and the kidnapping. The only thing i didn't like about the books was the timeline. They met in May and they got married in August. He proposed in July. Three months after they met.... who does that? When i think about those books i don't think about the sex in them. I think about Christian's development as a character. In the first book he was really fucked up. And then he met his person who loved him and put in the work for the relationship to work and by the end of the story he was a completely different person. Ana also developed through the books. She became more confident and she took no bullshit from anyone.

I got into reading back in 2012 and Ana's books are the first books that got me into reading as an adult but I prefer Christian's books more than hers and so every year when I go back for a reread I pick up his instead. I think they personally get better after Grey so I can't wait to see your thoughts on the next one. I also agree that Ana is Ms Mash 🤣🤣🤣

I enjoyed them as well the first time I read them but omg Aly DO NOT reread them from Ana's pov cause honestly Christian's pov is the better version and that being said I never read book 3 from his pov because I got tired of them

Yeah I don't think I could handle rereading ms mash again 🤣

I read those books when they came out, but couldn’t finish the third one. Everything was so badly written. I cringed reading the sex scenes. It’s for this reason that I refuse to read this book. Well done to you for reading Grey.

When Fifty Shades of Grey came out I was married with a teenage daughter. That book was so shocking to me that I remember snapping it closed with my mouth hanging open and now I’m like ‘the filthier the better’😂😂😂

Omgoodness this is so funny I love it. Personally I didn't care for the fifty shades trilogy I read the first book but thought it was barmp and didn't bother. This video though makes me want to read them and point stuff for personal humor. Thanks so so much for sharing...
