From someone who reads a lot: don't feel discouraged if you don't like a book. It's totally fine to put it down and start another! Also I recommend: The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid, The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, and The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón! Happy reading!

The invisible life of addie larue is literally so beautiful, i feel like you have to read it knowing that it will take time and brain cells out of you HAHA. It is a very complex book, it took me some time to get the pace. Also: I think you should read all the light we cannot see

“And Then There We’re None” by Agatha Christie is the best book I’ve ever read, and I’ve read a lottt of books. (It’s a mystery book and make sure to read the epilogue for more twists)

You definitely don't have to read the Shadow and Bone trilogy before reading the Six of Crows duology,. I'm a huge reader and am really into fantasy and I liked the Six of Crows duology way better than the Shadow and Bone books! Also, I hope you don't move on from reading!

I definitely recommend “The Kite Runner”, one of my favorites! Also, “The Cabin” is amazing, a little thrillery but not too scary (trust me cuz i hate horrors and thrillers). And as well an amazing book I recommend, very motivating and easy to read is “Peaceful Warrior” ,there is a movie as well. You should definitely see it/read it! And I would love to hear your feedback when/if you do☺️

Yes you can read Six of crows, you will just most likely complain about the world building not being there (Which you would have experienced in the first three books) or backstories not making sense. i do the same thing with picking up new hobbies for short but intense amounts of time. i believe it’s related to ADHD and it’s called hyperfixating or hyperfixation. your interests get really intense and then they peak and suddenly you have zero interest in it anymore. it happens with hobbies, consecutive eating of foods, socializing with certain people, etc. just a thought in case you or anyone else might feel crazy for doing this :)

I actually agree with you on six of crows. It's a good book and I am currently in the process of reading it however, I find it to be a very slow read. Although I do enjoy it isn't necessarily a page turner throughout. Also we need a vocabulary list because, I keep forgetting those words.

if you haven’t already i totally recommend starting a reading journal! you just pretty much write down the title, date you started and finished the book, author, rating, and your opinion of the book in a notebook so you can easily look back at all the books you’ve read!

(for anyone wondering) I read the six of crows duology without reading shadow and bone and i did just fine - i’ve heard that leigh bardugo grew A LOT as a writer between the two which is why people say read sab first! :) (i haven’t read sab yet tho lol) also - Crooked Kingdom was better than SOC to me. Maybe bc I was attached to the characters more but… idk. I cried so much during CK.
