Chris! That is absolutely the gainiest sound I have ever heard you use! I love it!

All the demos of this pedal have been really impressive. I hope it's a huge success because Ariel has really put in the work and deserves it all. As always, gorgeous playing, Chris.

I particularly liked how well the pedal was able to bring something special to each. Guitar without wrecking the character of the instrument. The 50’s Vintera Strat was my highlight here. Bloody superb playing as ever mate.

Chris, Very nice. That pedal suits your technique very well. I love transistor style OD ‘s. I like how they stack with other drive pedals without getting too compressed. Thanks

Well done! Your exquisite playing really shows off the capabilities of the kit! Truth be told, however, I suspect you will sound brilliant playing a single string attached to a broom and a washtub.

Trim pots to adjust the low end as well as the gain pots I believe. My old Dual Broadcast 'll do me for now but this new one does sound good.

I love the original Broadcast. The two changes made on this model go to the opposite of what I like about the other one - silicon transistors instead of germanium, and a transformer that saturates less in the bottom end? Those are two of the best things about the original for my tastes. I can understand why Ariel might want tighter bottom end considering he tunes down to C, but with a normally tuned guitar, I like that flubby saturated fuzz.

i have the dual and its my favourite pedal ever!!! the "always on" pedal for me at the moment. i can get gain sounds i need, i can clean it with the guitar volume and if i need fuzz, i just press the second switch. this one is a great variation on it though... hudson will never let you down!!!
@singleplayer755 жыл бұрын
I can't believe this, preamp, overdrive, fuzz and clean boost in one pedal, so touch-responsive and dialing in the tone with volume pot ONLY....I'm surprised it isn't expensive as I expected it to be....I'm more into stacking overdives and boosts, just like it that way so this is a little too much for me but it sure is one of the greatest pedals I saw.

The Benson and Hudson secrets seem to be well out, the only factor slowing their rise to common popularity a somewhat prohibitive price tag.If they were the last Drive/ Distortion/ Fuzzes you ever wanted/ needed to purchase, would that make it easier to rationalize? Though, I suppose we're all aware that with the leaps, bounds, circuit designs have come, that within the year there will be something surpassingly brilliant, - even if the "technology" is rediscovering how they had it right in the first place,- made more compact, stable, or user friendly. Great playing, it almost goes without saying.

i cant figure whats the difference btw AP version of the Boradcast from the regular and fantastic (older) double switch version .... for me with a little twiking on the intern dipswitch ... we can achieve those sounds .... for what i can understand at least is the color and the switch ... i'm a boradcast fan for quite a long time now ... although this Broadcast AP ... looks amazingly beautiful ... doesnt seems diferent from the regular version .... and a double foot switch is very useful ... great pedal for sure!!!! ... great vid ... amazing playing ... congrats! ...

acrobata silicone instead of germanium transistors is one difference that I can remember
@paulcowart31745 жыл бұрын
Silicon instead of germanium I would probably prefer the old one but this one sounds great too
@darwinsaye4 жыл бұрын
Silicon transistors instead of germanium and a transformer that saturates less in the bottom end are the only two differences I read on their website. So for me they are both changes that I would *not* prefer over the original. The guy this pedal was designed for tunes down to C, so it’s understandable why he’d want tighter bass frequencies, but I wouldn’t.
@MichaelClearyBand4 жыл бұрын
Sounds sweet! What is the amp?
@Grant_Ferstat4 жыл бұрын
I would love to hear someone compare this to the standard Broadcast models. There are no dealers within thousands of kilometres of me unfortunately.
@darwinsaye4 жыл бұрын
The original has germanium transistors instead of silicon, so it should be warmer sounding and clean up better with guitar volume roll off. It also has more saturation in the bass frequencies, so it’s more like a squishy fuzz than a tight distortion.

Grant Ferstat tone knob on your guitar :) Also, internal trim pots in the pedal
@Grant_Ferstat5 жыл бұрын
gabe gamer I don’t want to have the use the tone pot for my ‘default’ sound. I’d rather keep it for when I want a deliberately darker tone. I prefer to balance the EQ of my pedals with my amp sound.
