My wife passed away. She was 44 years old. I just want to say to everyone don't take for granted the people around you that love you and you love them. No one is perfect but let people know you love them hug the ones close to you just let them know you love them please.

I can emphasize with you and you have my sincere condolences. My wife was 47 when she died unexpectedly. That was in 2005. Has the loss lessened in that time?? Sure it has but do I miss her any less?? Not on your life. Hardly a day goes by I don't think what might have been. I wish you well sir. 😊

It's hard to beat this age old look. The classic look of exposed aggregate never goes out of style. Super nice job Tom. You and your crew are the best!! 😊😊

The exposed aggregate looks absolutely amazing against that house. You guys are the cream of the crop. Amazing work.

The many times I was around concrete over the years. And it took me finding your channel to see what can be done. The exposed aggregate is very interesting as always.

20:07 whats the deal with those deck joists? no ledger board? no hangers? each one connected thru the brick?
@robertsnyder5193Ай бұрын
As far as finishes you do the exposed agrigate comes in second, the barn board is my favorite. Blessings

I like the 'find a way' work ethic. I am retired but this can be applied house management and helping others.

Another awesome project(s) 👍 I really hope the clients in your area appreciate the quality of the work that you do. In my area the quality of concrete work is dismal. I really enjoy your content 😊 I thank Mike Morgan often for introducing me to your channel.

Who ever built the house we are living in now used their noodle. They put electrical outlets along the back side of the house and two water spigot as well. Uptop on either side of the deck two more outlets. Along the long front porch more outlets. On each side of the house spigots too. Only thing in the back of the house we had changed was a bigger gutter put up because the roof is so steep and it's a metal roof.

Amazing exposed job, Mr Tom. It’s a shame you don’t get paid for doing that work. The customer aught to be ashamed of themselves. Anyway, excellent work as always, Sir. Thank you for sharing. Maybe your winter won’t be harsh enough for y’all to take of, and we can continue watching year round. 👍

I was taught coming out of a house you should have a nominal 7" step. Is this something new in new home building? I saw a straight out of the backdoor that the pour was to the aluminum threshold. The side door was 4", right under the rollock course. It would've looked better leaving about a half course of brick along with the rollock which would give you about a 7" step. It would be safer too, instead of stumbling out with a short step.

Why would anyone set those deck post below concrete grade..They should have been set in steel brackets set in concrete piers and the patio poured to the bottom of the bracket.. Or better yet the patio should have been poured before the deck was built.. I would demand that be fixed before I closed on that home because we all know those post won’t last 5 yr..
