Rovers fan here! Blackburn Rovers' downfall from the top flight was sadly due to a botched takeover by current owner, VH Group, sacking Sam Allardyce and alowing Steave Kean to take over as manager after his agent helped facilitate the sale to VH, while also losing confidence from quality players. In 2010/11 we also missed the opportunity to sign Lewandowski due to the volcano eruption in Iceland, that transfer could have potentially saved the club. VH in recent years has stuck by the club, and have committed to getting the club back to the Premier League before they look to sell. Due to laws in india they have struggled to get money into the club. The sale of Adam Wharton to Crystal Palace has been a massive source of income, and thanks to Sammie Szmodics securing us another season in the Championship a lot of that money should be available to the club! Things are hopeful, but really appreciated this video!

As a Blackburn fan, I loved this video. I think the reason of the downfall is the loss of Ben Brereton Diaz who is at Sheffield united now. He was always there when we needed him and always banged in goals.

The Venky’s bought Blackburn in 2010, and it’s just been a decline ever since. Similarly to Blackpool, they’re a club who are a victim of bad ownership. Such a shame cos under Jack Walker they won the PL, and even under his families ownership, they were European regulars in the early 2000’s. I’d love to see them back one day

They didn't realise that you could get relegated and made bad decision after bad decision, while being advised by absolute parasites. The fan base has dwindled and we don't make enough money to wipe our own noses so the owners have to fork out roughly £20m to keep us afloat.
