Yeah there's a glitch with the farewell tours you can't override, Kenny found that out in like the first week when he did a retirement tour video I think. Also mess around with your salary sliders more since year 2 you have Fox, Suggs and Dyson sitting in free agency wanting 30+ million, I like to turn the player potential slider way down on the contracts that way every 80 overall 25 year old doesn't ask for 30M

2k, and the world for that matter, severely underrating Jonathan Kuminga. His stats are suppressed by the minutes Kerr gave him start of last year. Over the last 2 months he was greater than 20ppg and shot over 37% from 3 for half the season. His playmaking massively improved as well, and his on-ball defense is actually very solid. It's the help rotation defense and rebounding he needs work on. The dude's exceptionally good for 21 years old. Easy frontrunner for most improved this year IMO.

Agree 100%. The team isn't contending like they used to. Kerr needed to start him last season because I think of they want to start a rebuild/retool having him at least develop is a good start to get ahead of the game before Steph's retirement. Steph isn't gonna last forever, they need to move on at some point

@@yumval629lmao I didn’t see that. Buddy has lowkey been stronger than ppl have thought for a bit tho. He was like 6’4 215 at the combine but w low body fat %, and he grew 3in in HS and bulked up like 30+ pounds during that time. Not exactly sure when, but he started taking weight training more seriously at some point. He has def gotten bigger from combine to SAC to IND, no doubt about it. His coaches talk about him weight training and having a strong core, you can even just compare pics from college to NOP/early SAC to PHI. Pretty big difference. I’d guess before this year he was more like 225, maybe even a bit more than that. Def has put on at least 10-15 pounds since he entered the league. He averaged 5 REB PER 36 his rookie year, to 5.7 by Y3, and 22-23 5.8 with 1 OREB. His TRB% was at its highest in 22-23 too. His BLKS PER 36 has gone up, and he’s been a solid finisher at the rim which also recently peaked. I don’t watch him close enough to comment on his defense, and so much of that is effort and we all know that has waned in some years for him. But I think when he tries, he can hold up decently against stronger guys bc he’s bigger. I’m curious what he weighed like 22-22/23-24 and now what he weighs after seeing these off-season photos. Dude looks jacked. If he can sustain his 3P shooting while being that big, that’s prolly ideal. It’s not like he’s guarding fast guards, so if they can hide him on bigger slower wings that’d really help. I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see lineups with him and two other guards a decent amount. Curry/Melton/Buddy, Podz/Melton/Buddy, Moody and Buddy with Curry Podz or Melton, maybe Lindy Waters with Buddy and a guard as well. But ya lowkey Buddy can rebound, he’s pretty strong, and he’s a decent screen setter for someone who’s 6’4. Should be interesting to see how Kerr uses him. I’m a DET fan and rly wanted them to sign him, but I guess they tried and not surprising he didn’t want to lol.

Hard to trade Wiggins unless it’s some huge trade. TBH with you, I don’t understand why they spent the $ they did on SloMo. I guess he can maybe play some small ball 5? Just tough to play a PF that can’t rly shoot when you have Draymond, TJD, and other non shooting 5s. Wiggins doesn’t have + trade value, so as I said unless it’s some big trade with like Wiggins + GPII or Looney + picks it’s hard to move him. SloMo has a really movable deal in January or the deadline if they wanna make a smaller move. Like SloMo + Looney and maybe a pick for a big F or C that can shoot. We’ll see though. If they do move Wiggins I can’t see it being early on. They prolly hope he can play well at the start of the year and restore some of his value so he’s easier to move.

LOL Giannis LOLLLLLL. Not even a bucks fan but that’s so comical it’s crazy. What are they moving for Giannis? They’re hard capped so making the $ work is very difficult. Even if it wasn’t, GSW doesn’t have close to the best package. Wiggins + GPII + Looney + Moody + Kuminga + three 1sts and two swaps for Giannis and a few cheap contracts? No chance. Maybe Butler sure, but why would Miami want to do that? They might but it’d obv take some 1sts. Maybe Wiggins + Moody + GPII + Looney + ‘26/‘28 unprotected 1sts and a swap for Richardson, Butler, and Thomas Bryant or something in that ballpark?
