If you do this again, strategically think you should do it this way: After year 1, even if good QBs there, trade down as much as humanly possible. Only take defense because Madden only cares about stats for dev upgrades/DROY. Your team will be awful no matter what so it’s worth going defense because defense will be on field the whole time. Once you have a lot of draft capital, that’s when you look at going offense so that your offensive players can get awards/dev upgrades by putting together an entire draft class of QB/receivers/linemen. I could be wrong but I think that could work!

Do a 0 overall, but you can only draft the same position that was taking before your pick. Ex: qb was taking right before you, so then you have to draft a qb.

Fun rebuild idea: start with a 0 ovr team and then every year add a 99 ovr. You can keep him or trade him for more players/picks. See how many years of getting a 99 ovr to win a super bowl

Day 2 of asking to do a rebuild where every season, you take control of the team that lost the Super Bowl and rebuild them for an offseason. Do that for 10 years (or however long you want) and if you win at least half of the super bowls, you win the challenge

Day 33 of commenting this rebuild idea: make an expansion team (relocation) and follow these rules. You can take 1 player from each team but the teams get to protect their starter roster. This roster would be qb1, rb1/2, wr1/2/3, te1/2, each starter on the oline, le1, re1, dt1/2, lolb1, rolb1, mlb1/2, cb1/2/3, ss1, fs1, k1, and p1. Rookies are also auto protected so you can’t take them if they are available. You'll then have a 32 man roster that you can fill by signing free agents. But your team is a new team on a low budget so you can only sign free agents to 1 year deals starting preseason week 1. However you resign whichever players you want for however long you want. You can also make whatever trades you want. For the draft you let the cpu pick to spice things up. You end the vid once you win a super bowl.

Rebuild Idea: Before the rebuild starts spin a wheel to choose your offense and defense playbooks for the rebuild, after 2 seasons you can spin 1 more time to change 1 of the 2 playbooks if you do not like your current playbooks.

They both have to be in the same conference and both have to go 17-0. 1 team will get the bye and one will get the 2 seed. you want the 2 seed team to be the team to win the superbowl. Attempt 8 I think rebuild a team of vertically challenged players as in make a team of players who are shortest for their position and draft only players who are on the shorter end as well as using free agency picking up players on the shorter end as well when it comes to rebuilding you don't have to keep them the absolute shortest but choosing people based on how short they are compared to who is available.

Bit of a long request but rebuild the panthers with everyone starting at a 70 overall and normal dev and then put all of their ages at 20. Then turn off the salary cap so you can resign everyone every time and see how long it takes for you to win the Super Bowl. Every few years reset their age back to 20 so they don’t retire.
