Bro for a young guy your knowledge of engines and rebuilds is fantastic you know your stuff 💯 keep up the good work 👏🏽 well done 👍🏽

This is the kind of content the channel was missing, longer videos with more info and showing us actually how things go back together etc. very entertaining. Get some of your staff on camera aswell and have a laugh with them, it’d be nice to see the other lads talk and give info as they’re also part of the project.

immobiliser was my first guess as soon as I saw that cut off lol. classic Ghost symptoms
@salimchandia21103 күн бұрын
This was absolute fantastic. How you showed in detailed Engine Assembly with explanation of V10 timing chain and you pulled out the pins of the tensioners and showed first the lose chains and after the tightness of the chains. The Oil pump and A/C compressor. And many mechanisms they connect. You make it look simple and I know your development/knowledge make us proud. Sub Hanallah!! And not forgetting you’ve got a great team around you. Bring it on!!!❤

VO17ZRA i remember that car. I hired it when i was 19 and i’ll be honest with you, that car has been through hell and back. Good luck on the rebuild, hope it all goes well

It's always good to have extra knowledge. Engineering mechanically is an oblivious area for me. However, namz explained it simplified, even a novice like me understood.
@SaqibKhaliq3 күн бұрын
Hey. Performance Rebuilds just posted, they also had a ghost on their car. Shouldn’t be too much trouble for your team to find it and cut it out. Great job on the engine!
@gavinnoname14243 күн бұрын
I'm not sure how easy they are to locate. They can be wired anywhere in the car as they only need power and CANBus connection.
@kieran1944Сағат бұрын
@@gavinnoname1424 they're fairly easy if you know what you're looking for. I sold my 140i and the ghost is just a little strip of wire, it's the same bit of wire just wrapped in black felt

One of the most interesting and useful videos I've seen regarding cars. I didn't know any of this before and you made it easily understandable for people like me who want to know about this type of thing but have zero prior experience. Really appreciate it. Top video.

Its bad enough buying a car thats been in the hands of a certain demographic from Bradford Birmingham Luton etc but to have a R8 thats been through abuse by these so called boy racer posers is just even worse . Hope you get it sorted... Your the man Namz.

Great channel , I was only watch it for 5 minutes ended watch the video ! Very high risk getting the car in that condition but looks worthwhile if you money to throw at it . These cars need constant maintenance and if you have the money it's no problem ,sounds good though!
@ahmadraza16222 күн бұрын
100% ghost as it says safe, I've fit a couple ghosts if you take of a couple trims on the footwells you'll find the ghost hidden somewhere all you gotta do is cut the 12vs going to it and I'll cut out the ghost, it won't damage anything as the ghost only tabs into the wires, quite easy to understand and I ain't no mechanic or technician, it's the size of like half a finger will be hidding in the wiring loom somewhere, normally in the footwells, hope this helps u don't need anyone to do it u can do it urself
