Just done the same and got them into the Premier league, completing back to back to back promotions. Probably one of my favourite saves I’ve ever done. My key to promotions and then bettering the squad was signing free agents and selling them on when I got to the championship. I signed a CF free agent in L2 and sold him to Everton when I was in the championship for 55m+ Godfrey

There is one thing about Stockport County that I think not many fans of that club want to see or hear. Since the rebranding of the 3rd tier of English football when they changed the name from Division 2 to League One, Stockport County are actually holding the unwanted record: the lowest points tally ever in League One with just 25 points. That happened in the 2009/10 season. What is even crazier is that they broke their own record which was set in the first season ever of League One (2004/05) when they only accumulated 26 points Think about it, Forest Green Rovers finished bottom of League One last season when they finished their season with just 7 points in their final 25 games, they somehow beat Sheffield Wednesday.
