My cat is a large 6 year old male who was recently seperated from his brother and another cat that he grew up with since being a kitten. He's had separation anxiety so to help him I play sounds of cats meowing in different circumstances to sorta help communicate with him a little. The first time I played part of this for him he was confused and stressed because he couldn't find the kitten (so I can relate to you feeling kinda bad afterward). Now when I play this he runs to my room (or comes out from under my bed), jumps up on my bed, and gets ready to curl up next to me using my shin, foot, or hand as a pillow.

I have her in a separate room and she took the kittens after 2 weeks and hid them inside the the box spring of the spare bed. Its on two box springs so she's in the middle one. She acted like she didn't understand where they were so I played this and she started going crazy meowing loud and at one point I left the room with it still playing I heard her growling. I think she thought I had one of her kittens. Anyways it's like something clicked and she remembered and went into the box spring.

Get her spayed so that doesn’t happen again. The cats she’s interacting with outdoors likely have fleas, worms, and are not vaccinated so you are putting her at risk.

@@VanessaForney just so you know, she is spayed now and vaccinated. I found all alone starving and pregnant with fleas and parasites. I took her in and took care of everything she needed so she never had to live like that again. So before you go typing about stuff you know nothing about. At the time i typed that her kittens were only a couple weeks old and she was struggling with being an inside cat so i gave her the freedom of going out into the backyard. She never goes any further then that.

My cat gave birth outside and I'm using this to try and help her locate them 😙😙 I'll give updates later Edit 1, 7:36 pm: nope Edit 2, 7:14 am: apparently she knows where they are at but i don't Edit 3 7:13 am: OH MY GOD I FOUND THEM Edit 4: uh 10 idk well a couple weeks ago all except 1 died due to an infection. The surviving one is doing significantly better and actually more of my girl cats gave birth so he has more friends now. At least his siblings aren't suffering anymore. Rest in piece ❤️

oh my god this just saved me. i adopted a cat and as soon as i brought her home she was just GONE. i searched everywhere both inside and outside and i could not find her. the people at the shelter recommended that i play the sound of kittens meowing since she was just a new mother (her two kittens were adopted a couple days before i adopted her) and not even a minute later she just suddenly showed up out of nowhere. she’s rubbing against me and purring loudly as i’m typing this. can’t believe how helpful it was

I played this noise for about a couple minutes, and in that time my dog queen, my cat rabbit, my cat venus (Who was pregnant), and my dog JR started looking around for whatever kittens were making the noise. My dog queen (who loves kittens and is practically Venus and Rabbits godmother)even started searching my bed for kittens.
