This turned out so cute! ❤ its even better than the inspiration photo in my opinion. It looks super cozy too! I'm planning on knitting my own improvised band merch cardigan eventually. Hoping to order the yarn some time this year 😊

Wow I think watching you might of fixed my problems just starting out knitting. I tried for several hours a couple days ago and kept on getting too tight and wanting to burn my bamboo needles I have and watching you do your knit and purl... I honestly think I can try it again. Might give it a few days til I try my hand again, but wow I think I figured out why things didn't work and my stitches kept on getting tighter and tighter. You go into the stitch from the right, but every single thing I saw (other videos and a book suggested by a ton of people) said to go into the stitch from the left (I'm right handed like you). And to me that might be where I'm going wrong. Thank goodness I have my needle. If things work out, then my next step is finding the right circular needle set to buy. Which is so hard. Thought of amazon for cheap but I don't know if they would work w wrong cord sizes or I should get a set from Knitters Pride for like 70 USD. But I'm so glad I watched this video. Thank you so much. Even hubs was shocked that you made it look so much easier than other videos he watched to try to help me out.

omggg I'm so so glad it helped you! I hope it works out for you when you try knitting! (and tell your hubby thanks too! x) ) For circulars, I recommend looking at needles with a soft cord. I like Addi a lot, they're a bit on the cheaper side. I wouldn't buy a whole set of interchangeable circulars before knowing I *really* like knitting, but I also wouldn't recommend getting really cheap needles, because nothing kills the fun like an unruly cable or a bad join between the needle and cable that catches the yarn ^^' but again, thank you so much, I'm so glad I could help! ❤️

@@Shaiyeh I'll look into addi more and thank you. I'll keep that info in mind when I look. I know a few places that sell Addi needles pretty decently. Again thank you. Can't wait to try it out again!
