As someone who perpetually has faaaar too many WIPs on the go, I’m absolutely here for normalising casting on whatever you want, whenever you want! I am possibly not the best influence but oh well 😂 I am working on a new crochet blanket whilst watching and have messed up one row about three times - it can only get better from here! You should do an ASMR spinning video - the noise of your wheel is really cosy and soothing!

I always need multiple things going at the same time or I lose interest xD Ok, sometimes things take a while to finish, but we're having FUN and that's the important part, right?! :D Yay for new blanket, but nooo to mistakes xD But yes onwards and upwards! :D More spinning coming soon (ish)! @ amen to that! It’s our hobby, it’s supposed to be fun and it’s ok for people to enjoy it differently - some people find working monogamously on one project fun and that’s fine too. It’s all about doing what you love!

I wasn't going to cast on anything new until I finish my last two wips for the holidays... But I've been knitting for other people since July, and I'm SO READY to have my own worked up knit. For me. No one else. lol Today was also a good day to start it because we finally had our tenth wedding anniversary outing, and my spouse gifted me yarn as a birthday gift because it's coming up soon. The sweater won't be done by then, but I feel so good about starting it. Time to be good to myself.

don't feel guilty about having several projects going! Some people like making one at a time, others need to swap between multiple for it to stay interesting, and that's totally fine. Keep crafting the way that makes you happy! 🥰

Your doodle sweater looks so good! I am guilty of not giving enough margin for cross stitch, but the best practice is to leave 2-3" border. So in your method of trimming the fabric, count the number needed for the chart and then cut 4-6" from there. You could also do math (number of stitches wide/tall divided by the fabrics count per inch), but there's a risk there if the fabric shrunk during dying or something. You could also stich on the full untrimmed fabric and cut away the excess later. I'm a big fan of using Qsnaps instead of hoops, if you find yourself looking for another alternative in the future. I find the distort the fabric and stitches less than a hoop. And easier to move imo. But I only stitch in hand when I'm working on a ornament or something else on perforated paper. If you have an andriod device available to you, Pattern Keeper is invaluable! Like stitching in hand, the only time I don't use it is for ornaments from paper patterns.

I did not start on any projects with this video. Because I started a vest recently as a palette cleanser while working on the sleeves of my Seoul blouse, but have not touched my Seoul blouse since I started it. I am now halfway through the front panel, with the back panel already finished.
