I have been receiving a lot of requests lately for samples of a mobile site makeover. And I admit, I never touched the mobile side of websites on my videos.
And take note, mobile view is just as important as how it looks on your PC/Laptops.

I May have underestimated AWS/Wordpress self hosting my new site. Having several issues with ssl and email etc. Got the site looking good but under the hood is junk. Should I blow it all up and try again or do you have any suggestions... I'm so frustrated please help lol

This is interesting & something I need to do to one of my own sites. May I ask a couple of questions: 1. Did you change the template the site was previously using? 2. Did changing the mobile site design also mean altering the desktop one? If not, how did you differentiate between the two? I cannot alter the design of my mobile separately from my desktop site. 3. Lastly, when I go to the Scale Video Agency, I see their old site on both desktop & mobile, not the nice new one you designed. Why would this be? Does it just need time to propagate? I'm in Europe. Hey Stewart, just to be clear, these aren't actual redesigns I did for these businesses. They simply submitted their website for me to do this for my channel. Its up to tehm to impl;ement the changes on their end if they want to. In doing this, I didnt even start with any actual website access, simply redesigned the content I saw on their website, starting completely from scratch. Hope that clears things up!

Ugh, I couldnt recommend Wix less... I have a video coming out about this next month, but I highly recommend following one of my full length wordpress/elementor tutorials, It'l show you start to finish how to create a new WP website including how to tweak it for mobile to look perfect there too. I had a question! With a local business owner, does it matter if you immediately show your location and a phone number, or does it not matter where it displays? I like how you showed how you would set them up, but I am unsure where to put my location on the website. Thanks!

Hey Venisha, I usually put the location down in the footer. If your main call-to-action is a phone call, then you might wanna put the phone number as a click to call button prominently in the hero section at the top. Hope that helps!

@@WesMcDowellInc Thank you so much! I was so unsure about this. I have been watching your website reviews all morning to prepare, lol. We honestly prefer people to buy our tickets on our website but 99% of people just walk in and pay. Not something we wanted but I feel like there's no way around it, unless there is? lol for parties though, we have to manually add those in our system so they can't book those online. My other question was... not sure if I should create a hero section focusing on the 1 hour general selfie sessions or our private party bookings? When we give free tours of our space, customers eyes light up when we tell them we book parties as well. I have analysis paralysis lol. And FYI your reels video view ad has been working for me this week! I tried and and I think its really working for someone who's never done ads before! My views are mostly teenagers. I am going to retarget in a couple days. :)
