If the sister can't get pregnant - it steers me towards agnosticism - that maybe there is a God. OP's egg donor should have no 'grandparent rights.' A normal woman would not expect one of her children to abort any children until their favourite manages to get pregnant. I would not trust them to harm the child if they have any access.

I have genetic disorders that mean it'd probably be a bad idea not only for my own health(especially as I also have mental disorders...one of which despite what studies say has *never* skipped a generation in the family that I likely couldn't stay on meds for and just...Bad Idea) but it'd be a 50/50 chance if the kid inherited the disorder and while my brother has some signs but is mostly fine Mom, who we inherited it from, and I are badly disabled. I'd wanted to have a kid of my own(that I birthed although if I was in the situation I would not turn down adoption or the like) since I was a little girl so recognizing this was a devestating moment. Even now it sometimes hurts despite it being years since I first realized this. Sure maybe it'd hurt sometimes because feelings are like that but I would never try to tell someone, especially family!, they couldn't have a baby because I shouldn't! Just absolutely horrible.

When I read a story like this, I can't help but pray that it's made up and not real. While my family had no angels, I can't even comprehend this level of toxicity (is that even a word?). Well they went on vacation for a month to relax, figure out what they wanted in life. Well about 3 weeks after coming back from the trip, she was pregnant and had the most beautiful baby boy

Regardless of how shit people are to you, alway be quick to forgive, not forget, but forgive (big difference), Not Forgetting keeps you safe and sane, not forgetting is smart. Not forgiving though only makes you bitter and resentful and leads to broken relationships not jus with these idiots, but other people, too.
