I just bought this bag two weeks ago at the LV boutique. I think it is a stunning bag and absolutely love it!!! Since it’s canvas it can go with anything, I wear it with jeans, black dressy pants, white pants just about everything. I like it cause it looks more classy than the original monogram. As for the stares you get, one of two……1….if they know Louis Vuitton bags then they should know this comes in black vachetta and they are staring cause they love your bag. 2…. If they stare weird at you it’s because they think your bag is a fake cause it has black vachetta, and this proves they don’t know much about Louis Vuitton authenticity. The fake cost way less like you said, but there’s nothing better than having the real deal. Wear it proudly girl.

I have mine for almost three years now and I absolutely love it. It’s my go to bag. It’s classic, versatile, so easy to style with and the quality is amazing. Just give it some time and try to enjoy it.

give it some time because the reverse mono is such a versatile bag! i wanted the regular mono before but i ended up taking this and i am just loving it! the treated leather is no brainer! once you get through your pregnancy, you'll get to use this in the future! it's not really hard to style. it is so neutral! don't get influenced with the superfakes. wear it with pride. wearing just white t-shirt and jeans, greens, reds, brown and pinks go with it very well especially now in the fall. i still have mine until now. be patient... ❤

Believe me the bag is so gorgeous. The issue is that you are not stable because of pregnancy and the hormones changes. Give it a time and you will figure out how it beautiful bag.

I agree with you that the Reverse Monogram is hard to style. As soon as I tried it on, I didn't like the way it looked on me. I ended up with the regular Monogram PM and it's a lot more versatile and classic IMO 😊

I have both and I promise you this one is better because it’s SO carefree and much easier to style with black clothes which I wear so much ! It definitely works better with a more neutral wardrobe , white black, grey, tan, green, khaki , cream etc

Omg… I regret getting it too… the reverse look was cute when I saw it online but I didn’t like it as much when I got the bag… it kinda looked fake and it’s not very roomy inside especially if you have a envelope like size wallet… much rather have gotten the Noe or Speedy in the brown checker print

Did you already use the bag? Then you can’t return a used bag anyway. Probably wait until after you give birth & wear your regular clothes again. If you still don’t use it, sell it.

I love this bag so much, I have the regular monogram and I love it too, but my first choice was this reverse but never was on stock when I was looking to purchase, keep it, very soon this bag will be super expensive with the price increase.

No one can tell you how to feel. Only you know what’s best for you. Recommend not making any decisions until you’re past pregnancy and the surplus of hormones after giving birth. You will know what to do. My personal opinion is this is an extremely versatile bag, very comfortable, wearable, easygoing. I have it in reverse too, and it’s a highlight in my medium collection. I have maybe 20 bags and this is a stand out and one I reach for often. The black leather is so low maintenance and the canvas is durable. I might get it in Empreinte leather too, just because I really like the bag in general. But I don’t plan to give up my reverse monogram canvas at all. ALSO who cares what people think??? Let them think it’s fake, let them think it’s gorgeous and envy having the bag. What they think is none of your business. No worries about that stuff.

I have the regular monogram and I loved it in the beginning but not any more now. I am not really sure why but I fell out of love with it. It’s in very good condition because i take very good care of my things but I don’t want to sell it either. I’ll try to start using it in the spring.

7:28 the protectors. I get it I have them on also. And it’s about $50 on Etsy for the set only to see the bubbles, lol. I guess I’d have to replace it. But at least you are protecting the hardware. It’s great for resale.

Never spend a dollar on anything you don't absolutely love. It should never be an on the fence buy, especially when you're dropping over 1k on a bag, if you go by this philosophy you won't have buyer's remorse. Sell it and put it toward a bag you truly want.

This isnt a hard color combo to style at all, atleast for me. Its both brown.. would go with dark clothes or even light clothes. Id give it a time, or sell it. Id really just hold on to the bag for now.

I have this bag and I love it. I do not think it is hard to style at all, but I’m pretty plain. It is supposed to be discontinued soon as you stated, so if you hold on to the bag until then, you should be able to sell it for a profit. TFS❤

I purchased a fake reverse monogram last year bc the authentic wasn't available for purchase on LV. My fake has the wrong strap so I stopped wearing it and brought the authentic, only thing Im concerned with is the clasp breaking. I style mine with denim or browns which are my go to colors, it also looks good with wine colors. Keep your bag she's cute!

i bought the one in blue n rouge because i like in leather i dont like the reverse colors... the color a bit too dull for me i have the multicolor monogram (the japan collaboration) and that have many imitation but i like it so i bought it. even when i choose it from LV store, every single piece has different colors because of how unique the colors print are. some will appear more pink because the canvas used have more pink while others might be hmm green or yellow? i cant rem what colors are there but i went to few stores to get it change to a "more pink" that i like

I say give it some time , the reverse canvas takes awhile to grow on some people . I have had this bag in the original mono , reverse mono and the limited edition Infarouge version from back in 2016 , tne only one I have left is my Infarouge and I kept it because it was so very different from the others and I still love it ! I kind of wish I would have kept it in the reverse as well but I told myself I didn’t want more than 1 of the same style bag anymore . I want all different style bags . Another tip is to not worry what others have or what others think . Many people will never get to have a luxury bag directly from LV , so count your blessings girl and enjoy your beautiful bag❤❤

I bought the same pochetter metis in reverse on impulse and partly because of marquita's comments on price increase (her video back in july) and reverse monogram being discontinued because she heard it from a close informer etc. And till now(in oct) the price hasn't increase😅 I took the courage and managed to sell it a few days ago💔, partly bec, I realised the style was quite casual for my likings. Lesson learnt: buy the bag because you really like it, and it's not going to affect you in any way regardless of what people do or say abt the bag. Take your time because at the end of the day, it's our hard earned money:)

Hi, just stumbled upon your video and couldn’t help but feel bummed on how you regret getting the LV in reverse. I tried it on in Paris and the sales lady was really pushing me to buy it and I think it was the last one too. I wasn’t drawn to it but I did like the silhouette. I tried on the monogram and in turtledove and those colors stuck out to me the most. So I get what you mean about the Reverse having a sort of look and feel to it that doesn’t make it luxurious compared to monogram or other solid colors. Although I don’t think it is hard to style since the monogram is already a loud print (which was why I didn’t get it, I got the turtledove) so opting for neutrals in your outfit should be fine. But I get that your pregnancy would make it hard to style anyway. Like other people suggested, wait until after your pregnancy to see how you feel to start using it again. Our feelings over bags change a lot over time and with use. I do think this bag is practical for you so you don’t have to worry about the venchetta leather. So that’s a Pro to really consider. And if you’re really adamant about it not being “the one”, then give yourself that peace of mind and sell it even if it may be at a loss and get the bag you know you deserve and desire. Life is too short to cheapen yourself out especially on luxury goods, since hey, we spend so much money on it, spending a little more doesn’t hurt 😂lol jk! LV will continue to have price increases tbh. Just do the change asap before it’s too astronomical for you to even get the monogram.

Why didn’t you stick with your choice?! Now you’re stuck with a bag that price keeps going up and it’s not the one you desire. I would sell it for a profit and buy the one I want or put the money towards the baby. I just purchased this bag yesterday but I fortunate enough to have tried both on to see which one was for me. These bags are about to be discontinued to hold on to it. I just bought the bag about a month ago and I absolutely love it! It's different and carefree.....I strongly suggest you give it some more time and hold to it.

It is not hard to style. Great shape for men & women & all. It just so happens that the reverse is a significantly more casual look ( sweatshirt & jeans = pregnancy)while the original monogram elevates your less casual styles

I have metis in reverse and i love it so much, I got so many compliment every time I wear it, i dont think that metis in reverse look like a fake at all, im the contrary mamy people think of it as a rare piece. And I also think if u have the tendencey to wear fake then people will judge ur bag as a fake but if ur not people will not think like that

Actually I love the bag. never thought about this one as I was looking at the speedy bandolier 25 DE but I think I might get this one. Also, it depends on where you live. I live in a city with an LV boutique and I don't see that many fakes and if you know LV you can tell.

Hey after 10-20 days you should know if you want to keep your LV Metis handbag LV will not take it back after 30 days The bag is not hard to style you don’t know how to style it it goes with anything you put on I I own both LV Metis monogram handbag you regret paying the money that’s why you are bombed out!!! I don’t think it’s hard to style but that the other one was easier to do so, this one is still easy to style just not as seamless as the other one. As far as the fake comments, it shouldn’t matter what others have, focus on yourself and you’ll be a lot happier 😊😊

I think you should use it and enjoy it until after finances get settled again after your baby is born. once you feel like you have the cash you can gift your mom the reverse bag and get the one you want. You may pay a premium to get it though. Honestly I'd just drive to LV and get the other one and eat the cost of the gas. Make other plans for that trip to make it more fun and not just a trip to make the exchange.

Idk how it’s hard to style, you can wear it with everything pretty much just like the reg monogram. I think you don’t want it because of the fakes. Reg monogram has a lot of fakes too. Me personally I’ve been thinking and regretting not buying the Chanel woc so I’m trying to figure out if I should buy it new even with the increase. But I have always had my eye on this bag too which cost less and is bigger but I think I’m over the brown monogram so I’m thinking about all leather which still cost a little less than the tiny Chanel woc. I’m also very over LV poorly made hardware. Even coach doesn’t discolor on their hardware and leathers stay nicer longer. 🤦🏿‍♂️

I got the reverse monogram replica one and paid very little for it. The quality is excellent and looks like the real thing. I get a lot of compliments on it. I am glad I "test drove" it so to speak because I don't think I will purchase the original one. I love my bag, but I hardly ever use it. I buy replicas of the bags I am interested in first before I invest in the real thing.

I use my *hqluxy* as a work bag and have had no issues at all. It’s a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadn’t lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and don’t carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interior
