The other thing is: a judge will consider the fact that the deceased was caught sleeping with another man's wife...a man with two children. Loverboy is 50/50 responsible for destroying another man's marriage/family/life, so a judge would most likely throw it out. Does an affair partner deserve to be executed on the spot by the betrayed spouse of their lover? Ask someone who is betrayed and someone who is the betrayer and you'll get two different answers...and the betrayed will gladly say "if I could get away with it..." If I took revenge for my ex-wife's affairs, I'd be serving multiple life sentences.

It gave her a sense of dominance and control. OP failed to take into account the emotional instability, and volatility of young males; especially when it comes to romantic relationships. Young men can be very possessive and territorial. OP's insecurities and accusations about him being unfaithful annoyed and aggravated him.
