@@rahi_yadav get the right case. I cant stress how important the case it. Make sure to get a quality case. But performance always comes first.

You only had to loosen a tube on top or loosen a screw on top of your reservoir while draining it, that should flush all of your water out in seconds.
@mr.not.so.perfect.6664 жыл бұрын
you'd think it would because of gravity, but with a complex loop it won't drain out all the liquid, especially one with multiple blocks on top of each other. Sometimes blowing down one end and collecting at the other is the only way to drain a loop and even then that's not 100% guaranteed to drain the lot.
@tygintech18294 жыл бұрын
@@mr.not.so.perfect.666 It will never get drained 100% for sure, but you could tilt the pc right to left, forward and backward and you will get the most ouf of that, been watercooling systems for years, never had to blow my loop :P

That would be heaven. Stoked to see what the specs/features will be on that puppy when released.

@@kromeworld2804 The first mistake is not remembering the number 1 rule: "A PC is a tool, not a jewel.' Especially for a streamer or KZbinr. While vertically mounted GPU's might look cool, they are highly impractical and it seems it was Harris' first complaint, even if only said in passing. The second issue was using opaque coolant, especially for someone wanting a limited or more likely no maintenance setup. Another issue was using rigid tubing for a first go round with liquid cooling, always walk before running. Also flexible tubing would be easier to re-route.

@Mr Butler what i can say You can remove the "backplate" of the outputs of the graphic cards so you can safely do the cuts. Disconnect the front panel I/O or get a second PSU for just turning on and off the pump Use the other hole of the reservoir(usually they have 2 "ins" and 1 "out")

In the future, might want to invest in an EK leak tester tool. I've used it to air test the loop prior to filling with water. It also helps to pump air through the system in order to drain it. Micro center sells it online and in their stores. Super handy.
@scottwsmith4 жыл бұрын
Couple thoughts: 1. The Enthoo 719 has a fill port in the top of the case. Run a tube from there to your reservoir for easier filling. 2. Change the drain port to accept a drain tube to help ease the draining of your system. 3. If you blow into your liquid loop, you might want to do a full flush and clean refill of your loop in a couple months to get things back as clean as they can be.

I bought this case too, really wish I wouldnt have now..... There was so many things that I just wasnt prepared for, new power supply with cords, the inability to have a decent sized motherboard for the bottom PC that I had initially used for streaming, the inability to have both a capture card and a graphics card on the bottom, a typical fan would not workon the bottom motherboard so I had to get another one, and lastly that I had to have a riser for the bottom motherboard. It is a pretty machine now that I have it working but I still would love to do some extra work on it, but at this point I had rather just build a new computer rather than work on anything consisting of this case.

Just couplle heads up for people . NEVER EVER EVER dremel metal while still attached to PCBs of GPUs or MBs. Need to prevent any metal fragments or metal dust enetring the PCBs as it could cause a short..A couple of screws removed from the metal backplate on the GPU and it will come right off Also vertical GPUs arent really an issue for single GPU PC's. Quite frankly Duel GPUs unless in a duel CPU system are pretty silly. Some simple planning and install of a Drainage port can make servicing of water cooled PCs pretty simple. Its good seeing Harris enjoying himself buidling PCs, but like all of us he's got alot of improvement ahead of him, please dont be scared of water cooling people its super fun and dosnt have to be this painful

I have a haf xb with a cpu water cooling setup, its a 280 in front with a alphacool d5 eisstation downstairs. I put the fill/drain port on the bottom of the case but should had put a second being one of the bottom ports of the eisstation. To drain this system I have the case half on a table over a bucket with the fill/drain port open, then lossen the top fitting of the radiator. It is not the best setup and dose not drain more than 85%. To fill this the case is fliped upside down with a funnel shoved in the fill/drain port, then the case is rolled around and process is repeated a few times. The pump is never powered on durring drain or fill of this system and can fill to 95% as such. That 5% dose not matter on my system since the inlet on the rad is on top and return on the rad is on bottom.

Sorry man but I have to overlay your video with "Yakety Sax" (The Benny Hill Show theme tune). If that's your main streaming rig, you shouldn't have hard-lined your rig - yeah, it looks cool but you need ease of maintenance and minimum downtime. Get a pass-through fitting for the drain cut-out and plumb your drain tube to it. With the pass-through, you can then attach a piece of soft tubing with a compression fitting onto the thread to make things *much* easier. Next, get rid of the white liquid and go with clear (save sediment build up and staining) but you'll need to at the very least flush all traces of the solid coolant out of your system beforehand (at worst, you'll have to take the blocks apart to clean). Finally, I hope you cleaned off that front dust filter before you reassembled your rig - it was filthy!
