I got my full size GoXLR for 280 last year, it’s huge but I love it

my only concern here is when you want things split between tracks when doing a capture. everything is coming through on 1 audio source so If you want to record and later edit out the discord/music audio, youre kinda stuck

Companies that release products that offer no value to the market should be considered as wasting resources. Those resources going into making a new piece of tech that offer NO VALUE could have gone to another product that actually offers some new feature or better quality.

4k60 for it to downgraded by the social media platforms. 😂 if you want to record at pro level 8k 4k then record to camera storage instead. camlink is for streamers and nobody streams at 4k 60 unless you pay big money to the platform and isp bandwidth suppliers

I got a GoXLR when it originally released and have never had any major problems. Still use it daily and it’s still one of my favorite purchases I’ve made.

I still have a GoXLR mini and I do love the extra connectivity on the back.

The problem with Microsoft and Google is that they often create great stuff and cancel it if it doesn't hit the expected numbers. But I think this is the direction Laptops should head to. If they manage to emulate better and get the gaming performance there is no reason to buy anything else. But I also would love to see a snapdragon with a dedicated GPU.

I dunno, I have a Canon 70D and the USB mode also outputs to around 1280 x 720 (it's not quite that but it's something close to it.) I don't really understand why we can't have a camera that just outputs 4k - is USB-C a bandwidth limited interface?

GoXLR is still unbeaten by any of these. The only thing I am missing is the expander. Streamdeck processing on the PC defeats the entire point of me wanting an external device. It's an instant deal breaker. BEACN can't switch between headphones and speakers easily plus puts more things onto the PC cause it doesn't have physical knobs. I don't know why people are gasming over prettier software... I haven't adjusted my GoXLR via the software in like 3 years... you set and forget. The Roland is the only one close enough to what I need.

Actually got a goxlr full size used with the plastic cover still on it for $250, I love this thing. It’s pretty big, but fits under my stacked monitors on the base of my monitor stand and doesn’t get in the way at all. Love having sound samples for dnd sessions and just goofing off on discord, but having physical sliders and being able to mute channels is mostly what I got it for. At the time it was cheaper than the Roland bridge cast and I’m what pokemaine calls a broke boi, so no regrets here.

It was dead for a while with the update. I had to find old installer to revert to. Frustrating when you spent $400 a couple years ago. I recently switched to IEM’s over my previous sennheisers. I need submix to work now so I can turn my voice down in my own head!!! Have they patched the update?
