Come on gundam. 1. The first lady is probably some HR person, and it is literally her work to promote the company she works for, for potential job seekers. Therefore this is literally an ad. No sane person has days like this, where all they do is eat, then go for hike and then from hike to korean restaurant etc... 2. The second lady is the typical - i got rich by telling people how rich i am. Since Robert Kiyosaki there is a flood of those people. This is just another "Secret". Again - this is literally an ad. It is not some segment from ones life. And you know it. Next you can criticise gillette ad how their blades shave your face in one move. In other words, THIS IS NOT REAL. It is clearly staged for a purpose - being an ad. Watching ad and then being angry about the whole world is ridiculous. Yes there are some people who do very little, and there are nepo babies etc... but those people do not promote products. If they sell a product - it is an ad.

Eh, lots of men do completely useless jobs too, kinda for the same reason: someone set a quota for minimum jobs (via gov, union, HR, whatever) and those jobs get filled by folks who aren't competent enough to do the productive work. Statistically, universities aren't graduating an equal number of women and men in engineering, natural sciences and math/ computer science -- so to meet the quota, they have to hire women in other roles. (Note: I have worked with TONS of competent female engineers, scientists and CS/ mathematicians, and they're mostly of Asian descent. The problem isn't really _women_, it's White/ Black/ Hispanic women.)

WHO is paying 19 year olds 10K per week. It is wild to hear this especially i'm in tech ( especially being a system admin ) and gotta work 9 to 5 each and every day. Tech places really need to re-evaluate these staffs making these mad money and re-distribute to the agents who actually work hard.

Yeah, meanwhile those of us in IT that save the day when half of our forest is on fire make not only less, management considers us leaches when things *merely appear* to be smooth sailing.

I was a contractor at Intel. I was getting some coffee from the Starbucks machine after working there for 3 months and some bluebadge employee tells me that contractors can’t use that coffee machine. The had break rooms that were clearly marked employee only spaces. I checked and unless I was able to defeat my manager in single combat there was no chance of ever becoming an employee. At Apple, if you were good enough you could get a full time offer. Fostering that kind of culture can’t be good for business.

I'm a tech worker, by the time I come back home my eyes are raw. And then I continue working on freelance stuff because money only to get depressed when I realize I could spend this time on hobbies.

For the average person it's a dilemma. Work enough to survive and have some life, or spend it all for a bit more. I chose the former and have little regret.

6:50 that 19-year-old is a carbon copy of every other social media influencer. I swear to God I’ve seen that exact same bland lifeless apartment in three other videos from three other people I know they’re different people and different apartments but they’re so interchangeable they may not be.

Doesn't matter how sustainably resourced the food is, buffets throw disgusting amount of food in the trash. At least lately there has been some initiatives that hand out or sell cheaply the excess food. But of course the buffet places just make portions to sell them in those apps during opening hours instead of selling the excess during closing hours to reduce waste like they were meant to be used.
