honestly man, I know you from one song, and I'm so lucky to have stumbled on your youtube channel. Great lessons and great music. Fun fact: the track I mentioned is "Don't you know". Still can't stop listening to it.

I'm not using Spotify but found you on YT Music so will have my ears on you 😏 Loving the Latin touch as I lived many years in South of Spain. Would be awesome to know what artists inspire you personally as there's always so many good artist that miss my radar. Keep the good vibes coming and thanks again for the vids with good talk and great tips 💪😁

Awesome video!! I'd also LOVE to hear insights to your advertising "journey" ... what seemed to work, what failed miserably. :) Cool graphics / branding or song snippets? Links to Apple Music, or Spotify? Maybe even distributor insights too ... THANK YOU for your videos and of course, your music!

Great points, I completely agree, BUT: Some people just don't want to play the social media game, like myself, and such people who hate spamming "hey guys" videos and photos (even if they are authentic, for my personality, completely unintuitive) are definitely at a huge disadvantage and are left out of the Dunbar's number of their potential audience. Consistency in music without consistency on social media is a waste of energy IMO. Sure, you can network in person, and it is way more efficient, but that one event that you go to correlates to 3% of the time people spend compared to online. This game of extroverted, loud melodrama just might not be for me, even though I fully qualify as a producer with years of technical, bedroom dwelling experience. Seeing a bunch of people with trash music become recognized as talented is sure demotivating. Still, don't hate the player, hate the game, comparison is the killer of joy, yadda, yadda, but, the game has majority of its focus aimed at things other than music. If you can't accept those extra parts of the game, just don't even start getting good at it, unless you want to do this for pure amusement.

I see where you’re coming from but I totally disagree. If you run ads and do playlisting you don’t even really need to do social media posting. You want people to listen to your music, then all you need to do is get them to do that. Ads are VERY powerful and can scale as much as you can invest.

I am definitely open minded about that as a replacement for spamming my stories and feed. Not sure how well that will work in the small, closely knitted hypnotic/raw techno community where that is perhaps seen as tryhard, but will take your advice nonetheless!
