Beethoven had the advantage of being able feel the vibrations of the piano that he was working on. Bishu had no such advantage with the speakers making no noise whatsoever.

Deaf is relative (most deaf people still hear a little, just like most blind people can see), but also it helps if you don't actually have to do any sound design and have been composing by just writing notes on paper for your entire life.
