I would change the jumping, in the original it feels smooth and like real jump, or as real as you can get. In your remake, it looks more like he just shoots up into the sky, and almost startles me a bit, haha.

I see that Mario can only jump at a specific height when pressing the jump button. You should make it so the longer the jump button is held down, the higher Mario jumps.
