Do you feel any difference in power ? Even on stock tune ? My friend remove dpf from his 2.0tdi Octavia 3RS and it feels Quicker and more powerful even on stock map

@AGM240i you will do. Go for a jog around your estate with a sock in your mouth then do the same run without the sock and tell me which was easier 🤣🤣🤣 same principle on an engine trying to push exhaust gas out with all these restrictions in the way 🙂

Hi yes golf 7, a3 8v , b8 passat, mk2 tiguan they are all the same DPF setup.

I've got my other halfs daily driving 2010 Skoda Octavia VRS ... with a blocked DPF that I haven't been able to regen .. so looking forward to watching this. Never removed a DPF .. if you fancy doing it for me then let me know haha

Take my advise and run for the hills 🤣 a wise old man told me when I was about 17 to get out of the trade before my body is knackard and I just shrugged it off like phfftt daft old man! Tell you what he was exactly right. Bad back from bent over all time, knees completely ruined, arthritis from air tools, hands covered in scars etc etc. Run for the hills my mate and do something else plus it's a horrible job these days with never cars so much electrical crap.

I was mechanicing until I was in my late 30s and started getting sore, doesn't help ramps don't go high enough for me either then i went and sat my backside on a machine, more bank, less pain. Somehow still can't help but do all the work on my cars, family and friends. Once it's in your blood it's hard not to.
