Unless you're making use of "When you gain SP" special buffs, he's the best SP generator in the game, thanks to Multiplication and his ult advance forward, as well as being able to rely solely on his non-skill healing (though somewhat unreliably). Yes, Sparkle can generate more SP... if you're willing to give up some skill uses, and making her contribute significantly less. But Gallagher not being as strong of a sustain as other characters isn't as important as long as he does his job, and if you need the SP generation you're only giving up the relatively small bonuses of other Sustains. If you're breaking with him, or have Harmony MC on the main team, he's putting out considerable damage too.

When will people learn all she does for this character different from the rest of the supports is speed up break. The devs already gave the characters break efficiency, she's not a necessity. Her damage amp doesn't affect break, only the res down, which can be provided by other characters through defense shred too. Her delay can be a detriment to break teams outside of super break. It's so easy to replace.

What I like is that building a team around Boothill is more flexible than at first glance. I even experimented using Welt sustain with RM and HMC just so the enemies never move and constantly take break damage from Boothill.

I leveled my bronya and never got to use her. She's just sitting there e1s1 because there's little use for her advance forward and sp consumption with anyone that isn't blade/JL until now.

I love Bronya as a Jingliu haver but I have to admit she's not universal unless you give her 161 speed. Not every character can deal with pure SP negativity at e0s0.

I was pretty stoked to pull her as my first standard banner pity, but she felt awkward run with every DPS I like to use, and whenever I thought I found a niche for her she quickly got replaced by someone who did it more comfortably. She was less used than my Asta. Hopefully Boothill will keep her around for a bit.

Got Clara around average pity time. I won't be able to get into hard pity territory for him, so I had better get lucky. I could have guaranteed him, but I wanted Topaz's LC and the new Nihility LC for Welt, so I was willing to gamble. Looks like I'll probably lose. On the plus side, I'll be something like 20 pulls for a guaranteed Firefly, so that's nice.

3:52 at this moment, you can use bronya ult after using the skill to gain a free turn of bronya's buff, even if you have the DDD lightcone. Your boothill will still get the action advance

This got me wondering if Firefly is going to fit Lily’s concept of break teams since she’s more similar to hypercarry crit dpses in terms of just ‘brute forcing’ the stage than someone like Boothill with some rotations planning.

Both of them tbh aren’t really brute force characters, sure they can break weakness and add fire/physical weakness to the enemy in their ult/enhanced state- But that’s all it is, it’s just for the break bar. It doesn’t change the 20% base res like Acheron, RM, or SW does, and god forbid they go against an enemy with 40% fire or physical res

I've seen to many "FF only viable with HMC" arguments that i would laugh at every one of them. Even Lily said it herself, she doesn't think that HMC will be the only support that enables Super Break. I find Bronya rather simplistic to build; mostly crit DMG, some speed, and whatever rng decides to give you. Relic-wise, I like 4 piece Messenger with DDD, which simultaneously lets me ramp up speed and action forward (in theory).

honestly i prefer speed tuned bronya + robin for boothill rather than ruan mei and/or hmc, my hmc and ruan mei have near perfect builds but the sheer amount of actions boothill takes with bronya + robin usually nets me faster clears which is perfect cause that means ive completely freed up ruan mei and hmc for the next break dps we'll be getting

I have to ask: Does RM buff affect BH talent's 16 times normal basic cap? 480 toughness retrigger is already crazy but 720 toughness retrigger will be more crazy. Although there's no enemy who has such toughness, so it practically uncapped.

Something Unto Death has exactly 720 toughness But it should be capped at 480 I believe. It refers to the BASE toughness-reducing damage of the normal basic attack.

What’s this Boothills build like? I’m hitting 300 break effect using a team similar to this and I’m not hitting those numbers with Boothill. E0S1. Talent trace maxed. Hell I’m using HMC and he’s getting over those numbers but when the ult is active, but not by a lot. I tested with and without ult active.

@@ch1dd I just got him lvl 80 and maxed out the last BE trace. It kinda was that when I look back on it. Hes not doing showcase numbers but I also realized I don’t have HMC eidolon 5 either. Which gives 15% of the max BE of HMC to all units.
