Lots of people are asking for build, it isn't any specific one since this is mostly carried and done via the Simulated Universe but, here's what you want to do Welt - Mandatory Focus on effect hit rate, speed, with an energy recharge link rope, Welt's scaling innately isn't great so even when you try to go full on damage with him (as I have) you won't kill the enemy fast enough. But that's fine, because you have near infinite turns Light Cone doesn't really matter, I used Welt's signiture but there is no nihility light cone in the game I know of that outright helps this build Artifact doesn't matter a whole lot save for the stats I mentioned earlier (Why Welt?: Welt slows the enemies down with his skill and delays their actions by a ton with his ultimate. If you're playing to be more optimal, here's a unique interaction: if it's almost the enemy's turn and they aren't frozen or recovering from a Ruan Mei ultimate break, and they intend to do two actions consecutively, let them do their first action, then Welt ultimate. This completely cancels the second action if Welt's ultimate hits, which all you need is a high effect hit rate) Asta - Mandatory Focus on speed, energy recharge link rope ideally, high level in ultimate; mine was at level 10, granting the party 50 speed Light Cone: Dance Dance Dance! allows your team to get additional action forward when Asta stacks her ultimate. I'm pretty sure without this, Asta can't properly stack ultimate on the team as the speed buff from her ultimately cannot overlap with itself, but I need to test to be sure Artifact: Messenger Traversing Hackerspace, Asta's ultimate is now a constant speed up for your team, baby (Why Asta?: Where Welt slows the enemies down, that can only delay them so much if your own characters aren't fast enough. Asta by far gives the most overall speed and to your entire party at once too. Without Welt, Asta's speed eventually gets caught up to. Without Asta, Welt's constant slow down is eventually outpaced. The duo needs each other in this team) The other two party slot is techincally free for you to choose whoever, I tend to begin the simulated universe run with a healer just to be safe, but as people have said if you do have Ruan Mei she is great in this team: passively speeds up everyone, better break efficiency, and ultimate causes the enemies to not get a turn even when they try to recover from a break the last slot truly can be anything though, up to your personal taste. Tingyun I've tried and had decent success with: another unit with Messenger Traversing Hackerspace is more speed up, but at that point you're hitting diminishing returns I find. Her ultimate recharges Welt's, sure, but not so amazing that I found it worth a whole party slot. Weirdly enough of all people, Gallagher fits the final fit well because he synergies great with the simulated universe blessings you're likely to get: especially the one that after 6 hits on an enemy you freeze them, because you can basic attack, ultimate, then basic attack again. Other potential ideas are Hanya for more speed, Bronya or Sparkle (especially the latter whom enables near infinite skill points so infinite skill usage for Welt and Asta), March 7th for ultimate freezing enemies can also work... up to you have fun everyone, I might make another video like this with Ruan Mei for funny if I feel up to it

Nah, I don’t feel like it Okay real talk though that’s the funny thing, this strategy is true almost fully my turn before the final phase of the bug where he splits himself into two. Once he does that, it’s a bit harder, yet not very impossible to still do close to what is being done in the video. The very end there over the edited footage of Breaking Bad the bug does get a turn; it just doesn’t matter because when their long awaited turn arrives, they simply thaw out of ice, and I will just press the path of remembrance

If you get the Elation card that delays enemies with followups, then team Welt with Dr. Ratio, Topaz, and get the stuff for advancing from hunt, you can push the enemies into 300-400+ action counters. Even better if you get the Brain in the Vat cards from Gold and Gears, and Welt can just constantly spam his ult. It’s pretty hilarious.

Yeah, I use March 7th, Lynx, Ruan Mei, and Welt against the weekly bug boss at level 90. Welt slows and delays everything, March freezes everything, Ruan Mei makes the weakness breaks last even longer and buffs everyone, and Lynx is just there as insurance for the occasional damage or debuff they get hit with. Makes the fight super safe and easy on full auto. Can replace Ruan Mei with Asta or Tingyun if you don't have her, and the team will function about the same. I've seen a lot of players just look at tier lists that are centered around the MoC specifically and then get confused when their team of supposedly OP characters doesn't function well for most of the rest of the content in the game. The vast bulk of content in the game is not MoC. Most boss fights have mob enemies that make single target damage dealers less appealing to use. Some of those "low-tier" characters like Welt are actually more generally useful when you don't have to care about MoC cycles and will make your life a lot easier if you use your head and slot them in when appropriate. Definitely don't overlook March 7th either. She brings a staggering amount of utility to fights against enemies that are susceptible to being frozen. Ult freezes everything, shields are huge, the follow up attacks help a lot with breaking weaknesses, and she cleanses debuffs. If you get her C6 someday she even heals a bit. And she's a free starter character, so everyone has her. She's situational, but she's had the most lasting usefulness of all the starter characters for me.

I do also have Ruan Mei but was just doing this simulated universe run with gepard lynx as opposed to my usual gepard Ruan Mei to guarantee a victory. Still, totally agree with what you’re saying. I find it boring when this game is dumbed down to a DPS check, where rolling for crit pieces becomes the deciding factor between victory or loss. Instead, finding very unorthodox strategies or playing unpopular characters has somehow just… been my thing, completely unintentionally at that. While I still do like seeing units like Dan Heng I.L. obliterate things, nothing would make me laugh aloud more in this game than Welt making enemies have 241 action points on the timeline while the entire team has 0

I mean man...idk who is winning in moc and is confusing vs weekly bug. Did you cleared like moc 11,12? That challenge is nowhere close to the weekly bug. Most players whobstarter this game at launch already are max level and so they are in endgame. So yes, for them weekly bosses are not a danger. And they don't need to build character just for it.

Recently I was doing simulated universe and I choose one of the enhanchements that said some thing like "when character deals dmg to enemy, their er is 100%" or something like that and after that when I entered the battle, Serval used her ultimate around 6 times in a row without any in-between actionsa and I was like "wait what's going on??!😵‍💫" 😅

Early game could be rougher in the simulated universe before you get blessing that enables this, but you could bring in healers early and download your units as you progress. Also, if you have sparkle, you could replace Selee with her for lore accurate Welt
