Stan those Autocar trucks are the kinda truck you would love they make everything simple for the operator and the mechanic and the customer support is amazing I dealt with them for years as a mechanic

Are you going to put a pusher or a snow basket on the loader? Waiting to see the smile on your face when you start using this in the coming winter season. Been following your channel now for 10 years when your hair was darker and beard was much smaller LOL! Cheers, hope all is well! Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow!

If you're just going to be loading snow I'd definitely get an oversized light materials bucket, it'll cut your time down to a fraction of the time, maybe even a roll-out bucket.

I'm always happy if I'm in the machine doing snow as long as I'm not under it fixing it lol

When I moved snow I was going to run a 16 foot pusher, was looking at a old header trailer to haul pusher between sites.

I demo'd four different brands of wheel loaders of that same size class before I purchased. The Hyundai was 1) the most expensive, and 2) had the weakest loader arms. I don't mean lift capacity. The loader arms had much thinner plate steel, smaller pins, etc. The arms would visibly twist when pushing into a heavy pile. I ended up buying a Komatsu WA320. It was the 2nd most expensive, but vastly beefier in all aspects.

cant wait to see you plow with this!!!!

If you’re using a wheel loader for snow plowing it’s a “Must” that you have Ride Control. In other words when you’re going from job to job, you’re not bouncing up and down in the cab. Believe me you need a ride control setup.
@DirtmonkeyАй бұрын
yep- ride control is sweet

Good machines these, we had them at a waste plant I worked at. We had a 955 and a 960A.

Stan I hope you get snow this year just to watch loader in action. Me not so much maybe a lilltle more than last year to try out my new riding snowblower at 75 getting to old for the walk behind up north of you north of Duluth Mn. where the cold meets the colder

When opening up the “hood” is there a manual way to do it I’m just thinking what if you have some major electrical issue that you need to fix but you can’t get into it because it’s all hydraulic… is there a way to either disconnect this and open it by hand or crank it somehow… seems like a stupid question probably but we had a John Deere as a kid that this was impossible and the only way to fix the blown fuse that controlled the opening of this compartment was by in fact, opening the compartment first yet you couldn’t actually do that without taking out about 100 bolts

My big loader at my junkyard is 66000 lbs :p You're getting the right tool for your job though very nice
@njh4473Ай бұрын
The tm is a tool carrier it’s for attachments like brooms, forks and other tools the duel lift arms make it easier to keep your load perfectly level from ground to top of cylinder lift. Also I owned 4 Hyundai machines there parts are extremely expensive so sell after warranty.

andrew cam channel he got that hyund excavator, it burned down and he went right back for the same model instead of anything else, it says a lot of how good their new machines are

Stan I thought you were in tight with Arctic and were leasing off them. That should be a game changer if you actually get snow this year. Although zero percent is great, you pay more $ for loader upfront can get $ off if not taking advantage of that program. I always use the zero option.

When I worked in the states ten years back, I asked one of the guys to go and diesel up the MEWP. Hi went and put diesel in a gas (petrol) MEWP. Being from the U.K. I had never seen a gas one before.😂

They've over complicated loaders. It's a loader, keep it simple. That is why the old F & G series from CAT were the best.

They’re really not complicated at all.

Why would you not use a grain bucket in that to carry more snow as it’s light weight material?

2 scoops and you would have all the snow we have received in nw Indiana the last two years cleaned up.

I run a new speced out Cat 950 and Cat 930 every shift at work. I even dig molten material with the 950. I handle 100s of tons of material every month. The new Cat loaders that have all the options are amazing. I am SHOCKED at this Hyundai for $190k. Yes, it’s not as big as a Cat 950 but it’s close enough that I could make that size loader work for me. We paid over $400k for the 950 with the options available. This loader is a steal for $190k.
@brucedale4465Ай бұрын
Ya but I hope the quality of the loaders is better than the their absolute junk they make for their cars!
@doug8949Ай бұрын
@@brucedale4465most loader use the same stuff as fr as Cleo’s and transmission I seems. Yes a cat loader will have a cat engine not Cummins but, Cummins not a bad motor either.

I've never been a joystick fan for the loader control (boom/curl/3rd/4th), I know it's going that direction but much prefer the four leaver option. The CDC type steering I love though. Also heard great stuff about Ljungby cab suspension, game changer in comfort by those who have used it. It would be interesting to try a Hyundai. Only ran Volvo and JCB, loved the Volvo, disliked the JCB. I want to try a Ljungby too but not had the chance too yet.

Stan , a friend of mine is in the excavation business here in Manitoba and got a new Hyundai 200 series excavator and was always a Cat owner, he told me he wished he had made the change to Hyundai 2 years sooner, he says Cat has really been a pain in the ass in the last 10 yrs constantly nickel dimming him to death especially the DEF system, the Hyundai has been good to him so far no major breakdowns or warranty work needed, I think you and your crew will really enjoy that 940 loader 👍
