She's Filipina, not some random multinational corporation. She let the people stay. She cleaned up the island, hired the locals. Islands these small aren't sustainable for a community. The only reason people lived there once was because the Japanese bought rare fish from them, which is a far worse thing for the local ecology than tourism.
@Abs00Hero
@Abs00Hero Жыл бұрын
@@AngryKittens Hiring a local is a sustainable in the community. My thought is , it's okay if a "Filipina occupy this island" rather than seeing a foreigner occupying Filipino Lands. If you think preserving the Fish and let them multiply then so be it. I do not care what you thought.

Was the island just bought out & people were more forced to leave? Great get away but what about the people that use to live there. I live on Maui and that’s what is kinda happening but with the fires that have happen recently. Islands & also small towns, villages are always turned into bought out property, or complete just taken over. But mainly being made into a “perfect get away” it’s just sad to think that these people were forced or had to choice but to leave. I’d be more curious about how that all came about and why.

@@randysalerno6274 Sandflies! lol but seriously, the sandflies there can be bad! Palawan island, particularly the northern region and Puerto princessa, is considered relatively safe. The southern Sulu Sea near the coast of Sabah, Malaysia, poses a high risk of kidnappings of foreigners. If you’re planning to travel to the southern tip of Palawan, it is essential to exercise extreme caution and travel only with an experienced local tour guide. I've been to the northern and southern part of the Philippines with no problems but it's always wise to know the area you plan on visiting. However, like in any tourist destination, pick pocketing and bag snatching still occur.
