I Replaced My Basketball Rim for Less Than $50

I had the same deal like you. I had a hoop for 5 years and it has fallen 3-4 times, and it bent horribly. I went to Big 5 sporting goods and I love that place! And I bought a Slam it rim like yours but mine was orange and an extra net and the total was 50 bucks. I love how Lifetime makes quality parts. By the way I’m 14 and I replaced it by my self :D

the spalding portable hoops rims are compatible with lifetime portable hoop rims they are interchangeable with each other .

All the experts in the comment section appeared to be in agreement that I should have stayed on brand (Spaulding) at the very least...however, I regret nothing lol. That rim is still on the hoop and I played on it all Summer for $50. In my terrible opinion, get the measurements right and you're good. A slightly better opinion would be to get the measurements right AND stick with your brand, Spaulding or whatever other brand is on your backboard.

Just to let you know, the rim that you bought isn't the correct one as the holes don't line up on the basketball hoop. The correct rim to buy would've been a Spalding basketball rim as Spalding is the brand of the basketball hoop shown at 3:29 on the left side of the backboard

Just to let you know you hooked on the basketball net completely wrong and you ordered a lifetime basketball rim not a Spaulding basketball rim that’s why none of the holes lined up so if you put the net on correctly and if you order the correct ram for the correct hoop it would fit
