If you want that apple tree to fruit some day you’re going to need another apple tree to cross pollinate. Most trees are self fruitful (i.e. can produce fruit using the male and female pollen from a single tree/itself) but apple trees need at least two. We used to have apple trees the farm I worked at. Good luck!

@@thedeadliest4380 While you are correct generally, in this case it shouldn't be as much of an issue since he isn't putting the snake into captivity. Just moving the snake to live on the property which isn't an issue. The snake may not eat just due to the internal injury but that is unrelated to being relocated. Also the snake might not eat the eggs because only certain snakes are capable of eating eggs. I can't ID the snake to say if it can eat eggs or not, but most snakes are not egg eaters.
@tomnyskull
@tomnyskull 2 жыл бұрын
@@bolandz4475 It depends on the species, the injury and the individual. One option to help is offering different prey items (like mice, toads, etc) of different sizes. Also, giving it a enclosure with proper bedding, enrichment, humidity and hides so it feels secure while it heals. If nothing works, the last resource is tube feeding, wich should only be donde by a professional to not hurt the animal. Sadly some snakes wont thrive and ultimately die, but im hopeful this one can make it!

My grandfather raised hunting dogs, mostly beagles and labs. He always put the mama and pups in his bedroom right next to him. When the mama was ready to wean her babies he would put her back with the other dogs and kept the puppies in a kennel right next to him even with the bed so they could learn and know every move,sound and smell of him. He had the best hunting dogs in the area and people would almost fight each other for them. I’ll tell you a little story about one of his dogs. He had a female lab one time that had past her time for puppies and hadn’t bred for a good while and was aging but was still pretty good to take duck hunting. Everyone had noticed that she had gotten fat and he said he was going to help her work that fat off. Anyway they we’re in the duck blind and she was acting kinda odd he said,but was still hitting that water to retrieve ducks. She started stirring around and all of a sudden she gave birth to a puppy. My grandfather about fell out of the blind !! Every time he shot a duck she went straight after it and another puppy would come. She did this eight times, every time getting a duck and a puppy! Word got out what happened and when my grandfather got to camp, EVERY hunter wanted to buy one of those puppies !!!

AQUAPONICS YES BEN!!! YES!!! DO IT!!! Seriously though, aquaponics is the future of sustainable farming. There are tons of resources out there and it's really not hard to utilize naturally occurring Nitrobacter/Nitrosomonas to grow your own food up to 3x as fast and with up to 95% less water than 'conventional' agriculture (dust bowl THE SEQUEL anyone???). If you have any questions or just want to workshop some ideas for aquaponics I'm more than happy to help out!

remember electrician Ben, lower voltage = higher current, fuses protect against over-current, not over voltage, bump that electromotive force up to 120V where is belongs and lower the current; lower current lower conductor temp.

Ben, have you thought about growing hops? They're great for cover and a local brewery might take them.

The bees are guarding their entrance! They like their new home. You also might see them cleaning the entrance/porch of the hive. They always find something to work on. You might want to make them some sugar syrup to help get them established while they find where the food in the area is.

You can't "Send too much power" out those batteries; thats the max amount you can potentially draw. You probably have a short somewhere causing the fuse to blow or breaker to trip.

Memories broken The truth goes unspoken I’ve even forgotten my name I don’t know the season Or what is the reason I’m standing here holding my blade A desolate place Without any trace It’s only the cold wind I feel It’s me that I spite As I stand up and fight The only thing I know for real There will be blood-shed The man in the mirror nods his head The only one left Will ride upon the dragon’s back Because the mountains don’t give back what they take Oh no There will be blood-shed It’s the only thing I’ve ever known Losing my identity Wondering have I gone insane To find the truth in front of me I must climb this mountain range Looking downward from this deadly height And never realizing why I fight

Red sun Red sun over paradise Red sun Red sun over paradise Golden rays of the glorious sunshine Setting down, such a blood-red light Now the animals slowly retreat To the shadows -- out of sight Arid breeze blows across the mountains Giving flight to the birds of prey In the distance machines come To transform Eden -- day by day Only love is with us now Something warm and pure Find the peace within ourselves No need for a cure When the wind is slow And the fire's hot The vulture waits to see what rots Oh how pretty All the scenery This is nature's sacrifice When the air blows through With a brisk attack The reptile tail ripped from its back When the sun sets We will not forget the Red sun over paradise Red sun

If you were still wondering about the bees clustering up at the entrance it might be a thing called "fanning" and it's basically where bees flap their wings to cool off a hive on a hot day. Now i don't really know if it was hot or not at that time because of the whole "watching trough a screen" thing but that's my best guess at least :P (Link to video showing off the phenomenon: kzbin.info/www/bejne/amTHeoufq7F2m8U)

Also, I don't know what the laws are like in Texas, but in CT, I know near me people just set up a cooler and a sign saying they're selling eggs in their driveway, and people can take out cartons of eggs and leave money, usually on the honor system. Something like that could be a good way to sell your eggs to people passing by your street who might not go to the farmer's market and make connections with the surrounding community as you gain repeat customers. Though I don't know the logistics of being able to keep eggs fresh in the Texas heat.
