That's true, it's a normal scenario in the Philippines to have a sudden change of cityscape. Everything is undergoing developments everywhere. A facelift of the Philippines is actually in progress. Actually all areas of Metropolitan Manila.

NCR or Metro Manila is just simply Manila. So don't bother to those correcting you. It's just fine. That's why whenever there are international singers having concerts in ARANETA COLISEUM in QUEZON City or MOA in PASAY city, they always call it "LIVE IN MANILA". So it's just fine. Hope that you're having a good time right at this time. Take care always.

You don't need to pay for the whole $320k (18M pesos at exchange rate of $1=P56) in one go for the condo unit. The developer usually allows the buyers to pay in installment. Like 5 years to pay or 10 years to pay. I'm not sure if there is a 15 years to pay option. You just need to know how much is the monthly amortization for the condo unit.

Welcome back to the Philippines 🇵🇭. ... BGC didn’t look like those barangay district neighborhoods you just walked through. It was basically the area that housed Fort Bonifacio, a vast military base. (Btw, the locals are more familiar with the short cut word "app," as to the word "application.")

Bgc, didn't look like the area where Arnel lives now. Bgc was formerly called Fort Bonifacio. It was a military compound before the land was sold by the government. There was nothing there in the 1990's. Dirt roads and only one company has a building there which is the Philippine National Oil Company (PNOC). As you can imagine, the area of bgc was developed but the surrounding area stayed the same. That is the contrast that you see now.

manila city, makati city and taguig city are 3 of the 16 cities and one town (pateros) that compose metropolitan manila, the capital of the philippines. i stay in mandaluyong city with the pasig river as the boundary to makati. bgc is part of taguig city, another city. bgc used to be part of a military camp, the fort bonifacio. part of fort bonifacio was sold and converted into a central business district that is now called the bonifacio global city.

some southwest asians usually eat crocodiles & snakes cooked. I think they ( fillipo) are shared some culture with southwest asians.
@derbdep
@derbdep Жыл бұрын
it's SouthEast Asia not southwest. southwest Asia is the Arabian peninsula. and although some Southeast Asians like Thais, Cambodians, and Vietnamese (mostly in Indochina, on the continent) eat crocodile and snakes, but we Filipino people don't eat those things. Filipinos mostly eat fish, chicken, pork, beef, goat meat, vegetables, rice, noodles etc. Muslim Filipinos of course don't eat pork, but Christian Filipinos (the majority of Filipinos) can eat pork. There are also Buddhists and Filipinos of other religions who are vegetarian or vegan. the Philippines is made up of 7600 tropical islands with 120 different languages and ethnicities. You can also find all kinds of food from other countries here like Arab food (shawarma), Indian food (biryani), Chinese food (China is near), Japanese food, Korean food, Thai food, Italian food, Mexican food, and all kinds of fast food options like McDonald's, Burger King, Jollibee (our local fast food chain), Dominos pizza, KFC etc. there are even Ethiopian restaurants in Manila.

You haven't seen the poverty in East Oakland, California. It's nothing like the Barangay you just visited. That's nothing compared to East Oakland which is part of the greater Oakland City boundary. It is a crime-ridden neighborhood & the homes & apartments are decrepit as if you've been transported to another 3rd world country.

lol, 3rd world country doesnt have that Development like BGC, MAKATI and ORTIGAS CENTER and it is continuously expanding throughout the whole mega City of MANILA ans for you information PHILIPPINES is not a 3rd world Country it is already categorized as the Newly Industrialized Country along with THAILAND, MALAYSIA and INDONESIA in SE ASIA. 3rd world countries only exist like BANGLADESH, PAKISTAN, INDIA, CAMBODIA, VIETNAM, LAOS ext. and the countries from SOUTH AMERICA and lastly the poorest of the poor the continent of AFRICA. in fact if i compare you california state to Philippines i guess California looks 3rd world alot of beggars in the major cities like LA, SAN FRANS, SAN DIEGO , very dirty cities, alot of shooting, high crimes, very unsafe and when i you walk to its alleys you can see alot of homeless people. thats why some foreigners are plan to retire in the Philippines instead of staying to CALIFORNIA the richest State in USA but looks a 3rd world country is it is a country😅😂
@nielk799
@nielk799 Жыл бұрын
in addition if i compare Californian Cities to major SOUTH EAST ASIAN Capitals like Manila, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and Jakarta these Cities are far more developed , it has dense of Tall Skyscrapers which San frans. or LA has only fews. SE ASIA capital has already subways systems, the transportation system are superb KL for example the city is really advance it is a City touched with a combination of New York and Dubai and alot of foreign tourist visited and of course alot to offers either luxury and local experienced. which California left behind i guess california population keep declining because of high inflation rate such ashamed for the richest State.

poverty is everywhere in the world sir, even to first world like England if you been to london alot of poverties are protesting as there unemployment is keep increasing. based to there report england a 1st world country is far more poverty with 15million people are living on it thats around 30% of the total population. and excuse me MANILA is far more developed compare to london lol. london has have only historical building there are few skyscrapers but not tall. also the transportation system like fully underground railway and high speed which on going in Manila while london has not. alot are on going in Manila In line with infrastructures, transportation system and Expanding smart Cities all throughout the Bay. london or LA or san franscisco are already old stagnant development is starting its shape.
